Searra is holding Eva as she ducks into the city, not wanting anyone to notice her. Her sister Tianna is invisible, using her power to make sure that they don't get caught.

Eva hid her face in Searra's shoulder. She missed her family and hoped the bad people weren't following them.

A multi-color haired, a notoriously good gambler, was living it up in a casino in the heart of the city. Perching her boots up on the table of an open balcony poker table, a devious grin crossed her face as her poor competitors weren't looking so glad.
Tahla was sitting at the bar on the ground floor in civilian clothing, blending in well as he downed his second shot of vodka as he spied a crime lord across the room. He was waiting for the sign to take the man down but who said he couldn't have a drink and a smoke in the meantime?

Searra and Tianna enter the bar, Tianna is still invisible and she's now holding Eva so Eva is also invisible. Searra looks nervous and edgy, almost constantly looking over her shoulder.

Eva tried to stay as quiet as she could. She knew they were invisible and she didn't think little kids were supposed to be in this place anyway.

Tahla had to keep a clear count on who was in the bar, as he was posted closest to the entrance. When Searra caught his attention, she looked like a fish out of water. He raised an eyebrow, then looked back to the barkeep when he confirmed another shot. "Da, same."
Gwen let out a loud laugh the few floors above as she slammed her cards on the table. "Sorry, boys, I don't think you've got what it takes to roll high with someone like me!" How she loved the casino life...the people! The party! She couldn't get enough.

Dementia walks into the bar, looking at Tahla and licking her lips. Then she spots Searra and grins. "Found her Nyx."
Searra sees Dementia and goes deathly pale. She looks at her sister who moves to stand near the wall, keeping a light hand over Eva's mouth.

Eva whimpered when she saw Dementia and Nyx.
Nyx grinned as he caught sight of her too. "Oh yea," he said. "Let's have some fun." He pulled a lighter out of his pocket and flipped it open.

Even with Tahla's third shot, his sight was as sharp as a tack and he saw Searra's fear as a better sign of trouble than the signal he was waiting for in his mission. He crushed his lit cigarette in the closest ashtray and walked over to her. When he approached, he cleared his throat and leaned his arm against the wall. His accent was very thick, definately foreign and not watered down by living in the region. "Excuse me, ma'am."
"Come on! Let's go again!" Gwen was all for another game until she drew the Joker card as she shuffled. "...huh..." She might look like a clown...but no one would think she wasn't human and often took advice from her prized deck of cards...

Searra looks at Tahla before looking at Dementia and Nyx again. "Y-yes?"
"Who's the hottie she's talking to?" Dementia raises an eyebrow as she looks at Tahla.

Eva just stared wide eyed at the bad people, trying very hard not to make a sound.
Nyx's grin disappeared at Dementia's question and he glared at Tahla.

"Is something wrong...?" Tahla turned his eyes back on his original target but he couldn't ignore an obvious situation. He sighed in irritation, grinding his teeth as the seconds went by without having the man behind bars.
"Hmm..." Gwen glared playfully at the joker card she drew then collected her cards in one swoop of her hand. "Ya know what...I think you boys have suffered enough. I'm out." She couldn't help but counter the mix of cat calls and insults with a devious smile and a way of her hand as she moved off the balcony to the interior of the second floor.

Searra looks at Dementia and Nyx. "Those are very dangerous people." She kept her eyes trained on the two, not wanting to let them out of her sight. "I believe they have been tracking me for the last few days, they killed my family..."
Dementia grins and licks her lips. "Yummy."

Nyx flicked his lighter opened and closed quickly in irritation, still glaring at Tahla. He wanted to light the pretty-boy on fire and watch him burn.

Tahla managed to remain in conspicuous to this knowledge, not showing Dementia or Nyx he knew what Searra just revealed. "What...?" Two murderers with a witness in his precinct...and here he thought thieves and gamblers was his target tonight. It might look like he was adjusting the collar of his shirt to anyone else but Tahla was actually activating the receiver in his shirt. "Move in now..." A hum came in reply and he drew a gun from the back of his belt. It took a fraction of a second before other officers in waiting busted the party at the casino.
