I was hanging out with my partner in crime one day and we were talking about slumber parties and how a lot of times, the birthday girl suggests to do the Bloody Mary thing.
You know, chant and using the mirror and stuff to summon "Bloody Mary"? I've heard tons of stories where it actually worked. But none of the cases ever include seeing the girl Mary. Just a door being locked or the tapping of a shoulder. Even pulling of the hair or clothes.
Does "Bloody Mary" even exist? Or do they summon another force?
I don't what to think of it yet.
I just wanted your opinions.

My sisters did this. I stood by the lightswitch just in case they freaked out and wanted to flip it on.
Afterwards, Rose got scared and ran out of the bathroom because she said that in the mirror, her hair became short and gray. Then her skin became pale with cuts on it.
But I don't know how true that is.
Every other time, nothing happened.
It's probably another force.

I tried to do the Blood Mary at a sleepover in my bathroom that always creeped me out. Before we did that, my friends and I all talked about what she looked like. They all said she had brown hair. My friend Tasha (who also had brown) went in with me and we both tried it. I turned in the mirror and saw Tasha and screamed because I thought she was the Bloody Mary. XD

I tried this with my friend in her bathroom once. Before we flipped on the lights, i had to run out of the bathroom because i felt a very strong presence in the room and i just couldn't bear it. Mind you, we never finished because my friend came running after me and we didn't go back in the room for the rest of the night, but it was scary and there was something in that room.

I really don't understand this ritual, because the story for Bloody Mary is very vague. Plus, it doesn't make sense that this spirit can travel between mirrors.
Bloody Mary is the name given to the Queen of England before Elizabeth I. Mary Tudor was a very religious ruler and ordered the execution of millions of heretics. They say that the blood from the beheadings filled the streets and stained her clothes.
How did she get in a mirror?

I read that she was a witch who lived in the woods near a town and she would eat children so that she could stay young. Then the townspeople found out and burned her, so if you call her she'll burn you like she was burned...

The story around here is different.
Simply, she was a girl by the name of Mary whom was raped and killed in a public bathroom.

Over here, they say that Bloody Mary had her baby killed and some other gorey details that I don't remember.
When they did it, they'd say "Bloody Mary I killed your baby" three times while facing the mirror. It doesn't seem like anything would happen if you did it in a group though. Unless you somehow all ganged up on her child. ._.

Well I'm pretty sure it's just fiction.
The Bloody Mary from a long time ago got her name by bathing in the blood of virgins or something...
I didn't look it up yet. D:
