Tripp and Rade's flat is on the top floor of a wonderful complex in a very nice part Redmond. The security is tight, no access without permission or a very impressive bribe. The Shadowrunner team have a deal with the complexes guards to ignore suspicious activity as long as either of the pair are around, all bets off otherwise.
They also have a boon in that they don't have to worry about losing their electric (or what have you) for any odd reason without it being noticed and a security squad going to check it out. It's a quiet neighbourhood, so anyone that runs in with guns blazing is likely to be shot on sight.
On the downside, it's on the top floor, making actually getting there in a hurry more trouble then it could be. They also have the attention of the neighbours on the floor below (there are no other flats on the top) and the elven couple that live below tend to like visits and have yet to recognise that Tripp doesn't enjoy their presence.

Radé stumbled out of the elevator onto their floor and nearly face-planted into the apartment's door. Behind her, Tripp was snickering quietly to himself, enjoying the show his partner put on when drunk.
"Wutr yoou sngiggering aht?" She slurred, giving him her best attempt at an evil glare. Again, she almost fell over.
"You" Tripp grinned.
The idea of Tripp grinning was, in itself, uncommon. Actually being privileged enough to see it happening (unless you're Radé) was like witnessing a blue moon. So amazingly unlikely it made your head explode. Even though the expression was a kind one, it was still intimidating to outsiders as well. His ghoulish features just made every expression rather disturbing.
He slipped past Radé and keyed the maglock to the flat, pushed the door open and then half-carried Radé inside. The door swung closed behind them and Radé wandered off and collapsed on the couch. Tripp pulled off his trench coat and set it on the back of a chair before walking into the kitchen and retrieving a bottle of synthahol for himself. It wasn't very good, but only one of them needed to be completely drunk right now.
"Bartender, another round!"
"Nope." Tripp waved at her from his armchair across the living room, "You get to dry up now. Then it's my turn, woman."
"Spoilsport"

Sage followed Rade's pulsing commlink signal to their apartment after leaving the store. She called a automated cab and loaded the bags of stuff into the car, she typed in the location of Tripp's and Rade's place.
The cab pulled up and Sage got out and headed to their apartment. She set some bags down and knocked on the door.

Tripp looked at the door with sudden, murderous intent. And ghost of a smile that had been lingering on his face had vanished at the sound of footsteps outside their door. Even Radé sat up and looked more confused than the average drunk.
Tripp stood and pulled the Ares Predator from it's holster at his back and stalked silently to the door. He touched a small screen implanted in the wall and the camera's view appeared. The runner from earlier? How did she find this place... "s**t." Tripp muttered, walking over to Radé and rummaging through her pockets quickly. He found what he was looking for, the mic that she had been using to talk to him at the club. It was still on and broadcasting... probably still even hooked up to his headware. Thank the gods that no one that seemed to be a big threat wanted to find them... He crushed the small device in his hand, making a mental note to scold the adept for leaving tech on like that. She was a clever girl, really, just not nearly as up-to-date with technology as she ought to be.
Letting the gun fall to his side and the broken mic fall to the ground, Tripp returned to the door, ignoring Radé's perplexed glances between him and the dead mic. He slid the door open enough to poke around the corner and stare down at the girl. His booted foot was behind the door to keep it from being pushed any further. Nothing short of a trog would move him, either.
"..."
He waited for her to explain herself.

Sage smiled at Tripp as he look at her. "Wanna party?" she asked "I brought food and drinks." she said holding up the shopping bags. This time she really got a good look at Tripp, she saw something in him, something amazing. The way he looked, the way he was dressed, made Sage's heart jump in her chest. 'I think I like him.'

"Party? Tripp, let the woman in!" Radé flew off the couch with balance that stated how spectacularly drunk she was, but more than enough control to make one wonder if it wasn't an act. The small girl ducked under her partner's arm and gave him a quick stab to the ribs with her fingers to make him step back. With him out of the way, she flung the door open fully and grabbed the bags out of the other girl's hands.
"Welcome, welcome. This is out humble abode, make yourself comfy, etc." Radé began the process of sorting the bags in the kitchen, questioning loudly as to the location of the booze.
Well, s**t
Tripp stood back at full from being shoved away, pushing the door closed behind the other runner as she entered. He made sure to use the chain lock this time, outdated as it was, it tended to be drunk-proof. He looked at the intruder and noticed that she was looking at him rather intently. What do you want? He mumbled mentally, turning away from her and picking up his coat after holstering his gun again and tossing it into his room.
The ghoul returned slowly, chromed eyes taking in the 'new-and-improved' state of his flat, as Radé would call it. There was one more person than should be, and while she had come with food, he wouldn't eat it. He looked over to his partner in the kitchen, wondering how she suddenly had so much energy after she could hardly walk home. She was interesting, to say the least.
He turned his attention back to the other runner and gave her a quick appraisal. She was a lot of what she had been at the club, a little less hazy from the strobes, but that was to be expected, now wasn't it? Tripp settled himself back into his chair, legs akimbo over the armrest. He looked a bit spidery this way, so thin and tall.
"So, what brings you to our neck of the woods, anyway?"

Sage looked around the entrance way. and walked into the kitchen where Rade was when she had asked her question. "I just had nothing to do," she said with a heavy sigh. "And I wanted to make friends." she looked around. "This is a nice place you got here." She looked at Rade and smiled. She thought that Rade and Tripp were more than just partners, so she tried to shake the thought of Tripp out of her head, but for some reason she couldn't.

Tripp watched the two women in silence. His metallic gaze darted from one to the other, trying to decide what he thought of the pair now talking in his kitchen.
Radé flashed a pointy-toothed grin and nodded, "Free food's the best way to make friends~" She chimed, her slur much less noticeable now (because it's easier to type). The small elf reached into a bag and grabbed something that they called food these days and proceeded to tear away at the wrapper.
As she was busy destroying the packaging that prevented her from getting the foods she so keenly desired, Radé noticed the other runner appraising their flat. She jumped up on the kitchen counter and swung her legs abesently as she looked around for a minute before leaning forward at the other runner and whispering conspiratorially, "We have to pay a lot to keep this place... on top of the annoying elves that live downstairs."
Tripp lashed a leg out, slamming it into the nearest wall with a resounding 'BAM' that echoed through the entire flat. He gave his partner an icy look, carefully pulling his leg from the new hole that adorned their walls. This damage brought to attention the fact that a lot of that wall close to his chair was patched up.
Radé, the master of non-verbal communication that she is, flashed him a quick 'v' before turning back to the other runner. "That guy," She pointed at Tripp, "Can be a pain in the a** sometimes. Like when he thinks I'm being too loose with information. He's no fun."
Dead silence hung in the air around Tripp as he gave Radé an incredulous look. He was simply stunned.

Sage giggled and looked over to Tripp and smiled slightly. She reached into one of the bags and pulled out a bottle of fine elven wine and poured two glasses, she took both the glasses and sat on the couch. She smiled at Tripp and handed him one.

Radé remained in the kitchen, talking mostly to herself and occasionally knocking things over. She had yet to start throwing glasses around fortunately.
Tripp accepted the wine and nodded slightly to her, though he did not return her smile. His expression didn't shift at all as he watched her. He wasn't really sure what to do with the woman who kept on smiling at him.
"You know that you're not going to get any conversation out of him, right? You'll be lucky if he blinks." Radé materialized beside Dark Angel, perched precariously on the opposite couch arm with a grin that would look more at home on a predatory cat.

Sage looked at Rade, then looked at the carpet in front of her. She moved her wrist in a way that forced the wine in the glass to spin. "It was worth a try," she glanced at Tripp then back at the floor. 'I feel so stupid,' she thought 'I should just stop trying to get him to even notice me.' She looked at Rade and smiled after she took a sip of her wine. She scooter closer to her, "Is it even worth trying?" she asked with hope still in her voice.

((Hmm... Spellfire's post doen't show in the topic review and it FINALLY showed in the thread itself... What the hell?))
"I suppose you can try, it's not like it'd hurt." She shrugged, "He took a while to warm up to me, too. Of course, I'm also the only one he's warmed up to." She chuckled quietly, not taking that fact for granted in the slightest. Her comrade was probably the best thing since sliced bread and that was super old. He definitely had some issues to be worked out, but they made him something else.
What else... Well, it wasn't necessarily a good thing. Not that she minded.
Tripp stood and moved over to his mass of decking mess in the corner of the main room. He would let the women talk while he zoned and possibly fond them a new run, since the previous one had been bust.
"He's not a social butterfly, if you didn't notice. It's best to let him do his own thing and he'll join when he's rea-... well, not even then." She shook her head, having run out of words to describe her partner to the stranger in their home.

Sage sighed as she placed her wine glass on the table after finishing it, "I am sorry, it seems I have over stayed my welcome." she said thinking that her presents was no longer welcome. She stood up and started walking to the door, "You can keep the rest of the beverages, and if you get a run, you have my link, give me a ring." she placed her hand on the door knob, "It was nice getting to know you two."

"Nah, not overstayed." Radé followed Dark Angel to the door, ignoring the smash noise that issued from Tripp's corner after she spoke, "He's always like that. Of course, it's probably better that we let him have his 'alone time'."
She was grinning like a bandit as more crash noises issued forth. She would probably pay for all this, but it was worth it, "Thanks for the drinks... and, ah, yeah. Not sure if you normally do our type of work, but we'll give you a call." She heard Tripp rise to his feet as she was showing Dark Angel out of the apartment and her grin intensified. "Nice to get to know you too. Now if you'll excuse me, I think my partner's about ready to throw things."
She closed the door behind their visitor and turned just in time to dodge a steel-toed boot that had been hurtling at he back of her head. It impacted the door violently and Radé laughed. "What's that for?"
"You know damn well what that's for!" Tripp lobbed his other boot at her, officially beginning their argument match. Maybe they wouldn't punch too many holes in the walls this time...

"So much for making friends," Sage said to herself as she walked into the city streets. The rain had completely stopped, but left evidences that it might start up again. She placed her hands in the pockets of her jacket and wrapped it tightly around her a a cool gust of wind nipped at her face. She turned around and took one last glance at the building she had come out of. She sighed heavily and strolled to her apartment.
