This thread is for the character house points. As all of you should know, our role play and our chat is kind of seperate. Yes we deal mainly with our role play and in years past all of our house points have been combined but this year I thought it would be better if we seperated the characters from the real people so that we don't cripple any houses by out of line characters. Therefore, to get the real life house points check the Room of Requirement and in here you will find how the characters houses are doing. I wish you all the best of luck with everything and I remind you that I am the ONLY one to post in EITHER of the house point threads.

How Your Characters Can Gain House Points.
We beg you not to be frightened by all of the changes being made to the guild because I assure you, we are trying to refrain from drastic changes. We still have the Role Play, and we still have a big piece needed for your characters since we are still a mainly RP guild here. You not only gain house points by keeping active, but as normal, your characters can gain points by how they behave.
Teachers will be encouraged to award points for students doing well randomly. This includes being on time, answering hard questions correctly, offering help to other students, or even the teacher. Teachers will be encouraged to give house points, but they will do it how they see fit seeing as the teachers are also characters.
We also have Role Play Prefects and Heads, so they too will be encouraged to give out house points where they see that they are deserved.
House points you earn, and house points your characters earn will all go into the same count up. I understand that some of you have characters in houses that oppose your own; but there are ver6y few of you with that situation, you chose it on your own will, and I trust you to handle it appropriately.

How Your Characters Can Lose House Points!
There are certain rules at Hogwarts that everyone is expected to obey. Different teachers have rules of their own as well, so be careful. Any of these rules that are broken can result in a loss of house points if you are careless. Prefects, Heads, and Professors are watching, but I assure you that they can not just take points for the fun of it. Make sure you read the expectation for each teacher and just remember to have fun with your characters.

Who can award House Points?
There are several Professors, as well as Prefects, and student heads that are allowed to take and give points so watch out. Here is the list of people that can take points from role play characters. Prefects are only allowed to take points from non positioned students, Student Heads can take from anyone but each other, and Professors can take from anyone they need to. Prefects and student Heads are not allowed to give points.
