I was noticing that the Guild has been needing something very badly for a long time. New and ORIGINAL artwork. If you have not noticed the Picture on our front page is not by me, I found it online (just look at the map I made and you will realize I did not draw that picture). Also none of our guild banners for advertising are by me nor the official Guild Banner.

So basically we need new artwork for all of those. Naturally there are restrictions that gaia puts on us:

(For Signature Banners)
# Less than 500 pixels in size in both width and height.

# Total byte-size of less than 100,000 bytes.

# 255 character limit for signature text

# 255 character limit for url length (length of tags is included)

(For Guild Banners)
200 pixels wide by 40 pixels tall

(For Guild Home Page Banners)
No Limit

Now to what I would like to see.

For Signature Banners I would like them to feature something from one or more of our RPs (basically something that looks like it came from or was inspired from an RP). You can make references to our Parallel Timelines or the fact that In a Mirror Darkly and Greater Horizons are a Prequel and Sequel. Also I would like you to add text in the picture that says something about our guild (either our name, or that it is a good RP guild, or whatever).

For the Guild Banner I would like something that moves at least a little bit. It needs some sort of image (if you like you can create a logo, which is something I will be working on as well). It also needs to feature our name or have a short catchy phrase about our Guild/RPs.

For the Guild Home Page Banner I want art that features all of our RPs (not including the ones in the General Role Playing Forum. Those are made by members and I want to feature the Guild RPs so those are not required to be in there, but you can if you want. Also you can advertise those in the signature banners).


Now for the most important part, the prizes. I can't just make you do all this work and just get a pat on the back, so here they are:

Signature Banner: 2000 Gold
Guild Banner: 6000 Gold
Guild Home Page Banner: 10000 Gold

Now I know you may be thinking that the Signature Banner prize is a bit cheap, but you are allowed to make as many as you like so if you make 5 you can get 10000 Gold. Some final requirements to win the gold:

1. They must be at least semi good and can't look like you just threw it together in 5 minutes.
2. They must be ORIGINAL (if you use a computer/collage then the textures do not have to be original)

Also for the Guild Banner and Guild Home Page Banner we can only have one of each, when you submit those I will wait a week to see if someone else has something better, and then if I think it has what I want I will give you the gold and upload it. If it is beaten later on by someone else I will give them the same amount of gold (after a week). And then it can be beat again and so on. If you create something better than your previous submission though, and no one else has beat it then you can still submit it for 2000 gold.

To make the banners you can use any medium you like just make sure it looks good:
*The computer
*Pencils, paint, crayons, pastels
*collage, either on the computer and/or real life
*ORIGINAL photos

A final warning, I am not scared to hurt your feelings. If something looks like crap, I will not bend over backwards to make you feel good. But that being said I am very lenient when it comes to art and those that I have seen draw I am impressed with, so it is very likely anyone can win this.

EDIT: Just a note, you can still make banners and stuff that does not follow these rules, but to qualify for the gold you will have to follow the rules, sorry if there was any confusion.
