Common sense. Oh where'd you go? I miss you so. Seems like it's been forever since you've been gone.
That's the truth ya know. Dicuss commonsense what happened to it and anything relating to it.

I think the poison that's killing common sense is "Progressivism" (which is really more like digressivism), and it started being injected in the most effective place: the education system. Kids now learn that political correctness is good, everybody's a winner, you are god, your feelings matter more than anything else, and that government propaganda is 100% true.

Yeah it is cause that's what I have to learn in school right now. Read New Deal, Raw Deal and we get an idea of what will happen. FDR majorly screwed things up for us though with what he did in the progressive movement. The reason kids have to take tests at the end of the year is because the government is telling us what to learn and giving the teachers no time to teach kids common sense.

That's why if I actually have any kids, I'm gonna home school 'em, but even then the government tells you what your kids have to know.

Yes but at the same time you can assure them it's the governments way and you can teach them the right way. I'm still going through school so... I challenge teachers.

The high school I graduated from actually has a class about civics and our Constitution, as well as teaching about our rights and requiring community service. Either it or AP government were required to graduate.

State government here is crappy cause we have to take thiings a certain time and way or we can't graduate. We have to do a project over 4 years to show a product of a crappy... Thing.

It's probably just designed as a time-wasting distraction to divert you from what's going on with the country and the world.
Do you get in trouble when you challenge teachers?

Not really. Everyone knows everyone here. I'm generally the good kid type. Most of my teachers fear or know my parents. Some grew up with my mom and others are my dad's patients.

Medical. He's a (P.A.) Pyhsicians Assistant. He opposes Obama's healthcare for obvious reasons. He hates his job at the moment and probably always will.

Yeah I don't know how much that'll get me in life but oh well. I'll infiltrate PETA and be the caretaker of the cat rulers or something crazy like that. I don't like the healthcare plan because my of my Nana. She had renal failure and had dyalisis every other day. She smoked like a freight train and lost both of her legs. She lived six years after the doctors told us she would die. IF the government takes over the situation would have turned out differently. They would have told her no and she would have to die.

The government would tell you and me that we have to be euthanized due to the constraints of the budget, but it would really be for the fact that we use common sense.

Yeah probably so. Then they'd let Nancy Pelosi be the first president with a party hat and then Obama will be Supreme Leader while Biden got kicked to the Gaurdian Council.
