this is my first scarf im knitting. i love the color i chose. it's an ocean color and so i hope you all like the way it's coming out.

lol i honestly forgot the name of the yarn! lol. i need to look for the sticker with the name of it. i still have it, but i need to look for it, lol.

Possibly Red Heart Super Saver? I've seen skeins in my local Hobby Lobby in that brand with similar color skeins.

yea i think it is the Red Heart Super Saver yarn. i bought it at Wal-Mart, lol. but i wanna buy a baby soft yarn so i can make my mom and grandma a scarf. but in pink, because they are both Breast Cancer Survivors.

If you buy a baby yarn, I recommend a smaller set of needles and a slightly higher number of cast-on stitches so the width and weave are appropriate. Baby yarns are a slightly different beast.

i see. well the size of needles im using for this current scarf is 4.5 i believe? but i am going to make the other scarfs more wider. i wanted a thinner scarf so i casted on a few. but for them, i might go with either 20 or 25 cast on's. i will also show it here when im done. along with my first scarf as well.

@ZenEngineer - Sure thing. i just need to learn crochet (i hope i spelled this right, lol).
@ OhNoesItsMiho - lol yea this is my first scarf. it's not even half way done yet, lol. i hope i can finish it before fall. then i can start on the scarfs for my family. then i can give it to them as a present.
