Hmm, good question. confused It may be inherited from her mom, but we would never know for sure. Either that or he was just born with this strange quality. Or perhaps it was bestowed upon him during his childhood due to some strange incident causing Kid to fall in love with the symmetry of the world.

Born with it? that is too cruel of fate! scream Just imagine all of those sleepiness nights for shinigami-sama, baby kidd crying just cuz there was an uneven number of animals on his mobile. (Baby kidd... oh god, I just gave myself a fangirl moment...) I just made that kidd papercraft and Since it was kidd I had to make it perfect right? I mean it was kidd. i won't go into detail but I don't think kidd would leave anything alone even it was half a mm. He'd go bald before his time!!!

Well he's a perfectionist, since he's not perfectly symmetrical he probably wants everything else to be.
