Welcome to Survival: Africa! A program for only the rich and sadist! The Survival series follows the attempts of regular people caught up in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The company behind Survival, Spectainment Inc. are responsible for providing the 'talent'. By which, Spectainment sabotages airplanes and ships to cause them to crash land in the desired area. The crashes are meant to be as brutal as possibly, to ensure that only a few survive. Then, they must continue to survive for as long as they are able. Meanwhile, those who watch Survival place bets on such things as who will die first, who will survive the longest, and who will kill another survivor first.
