I personally think summer was made for reading, lol. I remember taking stacks of library books with us every summer vacation to the beach no matter whether there were book reports due or not. I was a genuine bookworm and loved summertime reading the most. There's something about a long warm summer night and drowsily reading a wonderful book while listening to cicadas chirp in the distance or hearing the ocean roar...no matter where you're at, books are perfect for summer, so why not share some of your favorites with us?lol.

I personally like reading a good romance book during the rain, I really dislike the summer... burning_eyes

mmm, I hear ya, lol...either that or a good mystery/suspense novel, lol...I personally love those the most...even when I was little books like The Bobbsey Twin mysteries and Nancy Drew could keep me amused for hours, lol. But I most wholeheartedlly agree with you about reading in the rain....and I'm not fond of summer either. I'm a cold weather person myself, lol...give me cold temps and warm cozy blanket anytime, lol.

if it's summer time to our country im reading an action and adventure because im in joying to read the book because it's summer lol
but if it's time to go in school im reading science subject because i love science subject heart cool

wow you guys both have picked some great subjects....we've got Shakespeare's (I'm currently watching the anime version of Romeo and Juliet right now, lol..very interesting as I saw the french film when I was a kid, lol) Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet, which I've read the first but need to read the second, lol. I very much enjoy action adventure books as well....and yeah, my science books were always the first books I read at the beginning of the school year every year, lol. They never failed to be the most interesting for some reason, those and my english books, lol. Of course that made the rest of the school year seem very dull as I'd read the textbooks at the beginning of the school year, lol..but still...you guys have picked some excellent reads for the summer!!! READ ON my friends!
