In 2014, A strange phenominon was taking place in a specific area. Males and females were dissapearing around a specific area, but only the females came back.

Through a rift.

They focus on the rift's power that allows them to grow to an immense size. The longer they stay in that rift, the larger they can become, or the more effective they can shrink an object or person, Though they don't work on others. Some of them can even create rifts.

But I'm getting far ahead of myself, here...

This whole thing started 4 years ago, when a female highschooler wandered into the rift. However, it trapped her inside it when it closed back, until four years later. She didn't even realize she had grown, until she tore the rift between where she was and the real world.

Afterwards, she destroyed her own city, with the power no one else could ever obtain. However, that made her feel a bit lonely, so she took in a couple of survivors and they became her pupils... and then more were captured and they became pupils as well. Afterwards, they began to control the rifts...

Unaware to them, a special girl opened a rift without them knowing it, which placed her in a special type of realm similar to those that would use it to gain power. The military is unaware of this, mainly because they are working in the shadows. However, those that were working on this mystery also began to disappear...

So far, it seems to be connected to a school...

Bio: Since an early age Maxwell had been curious and read anything he could find. This, with his memory, of course helped him quickly skip through the education system to eventually graduate with a teaching degree. As luck would have it he would teach at the school that everything started at it having taught for a few years already.
Other: Even with his size he is more willing to protect his old students even with this as they are.

Abilities: Extremely resilient (But is not indestructible), Can manipulate metal, and is extremely conductive to electricity, but is not effected by it.
Bio: Kurt has been working in tandem with the world militaries to fight against the threats brought by the rifts. Even before everything went haywire Kurt worked on small to midsized mechs ranging from military to civilian uses. This skills became very useful as conventional military power seemed to fall flat against the threat of the rifts. He mostly works along side the military forces, but at times go on his own missions.

Other: Kurt has been studying with the help of military scientists the power emitted from rifts. They have been attempting to build a machine able to use some of this energy and level the playing field a bit.

Bio: Zack is a merc, a sword for hire. He only works for those who are powerful or in desperate need of his services. He trys to stay on the good side of all those he works for but at times he has to go against what he is paid to do.
Other: He is always looking for work need it be an escort job to assasinations to being a date for the school prom. yeah i said date for the school prom after all he never been to one. Oh and don't let his age fool ya he is a master at swordplay and fire magic.

His first clone had a 1% chance of being female, his second clone at a 1% chance of being stuck in a kids body. When his clones were ready he was in for a surprise as the 1% chance for each of his clones happened.

Zack was wondering around the school until he sees Suriiko. He ran up to her and asks, "suriiko you sure its alright to let a mercenary like me work as a student here? I never been a student before so i'm really happy at this chance but this thingy about right energy being the ultimate source of power is kinda giving me goosebumps after all i respect power and to much power mean i won't have enough respect to spread around any more. well while im here might as well ask you got a mission for me?"

Zack asks, "all i have to do is knock him out? no killing??" He turns to rinne and says, "okay might as well do the job now. then i can teleport to the grocery store to by strawberry cake." he grabs rinne's hand and as the leave the school he whispers, "you don't want him to be indisposed right rinne? then how much you willing to pay me to just get him out of here? I'll take 10 that way i can buy the cake i owe ya. and its a good thing the intruder isn't inside the barrier yet."
