Because I need to post something here so I don't get banned. Believe it or not, Kosh, I do care. biggrin
So, I started playing FFIX again recently(That's 9 for anyone who doesn't read roman numerals...), and lemme tell ya, this run is so much smoother since I decided to fight some Grand Dragons near the beginning. Limit Glove is the most broken move EVAR.
Also, Kuja is one of the most feminine characters I've ever seen. Still not as gay as Sephiroth though. surprised
Discuss: Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy in general, how much FFVII sucks.

We don't have a great number of posters/members here and since I've never ever played any of FF nor familiar with anyone of the characters I cannot pass judgement.
Thats my post over and done with. rofl

i've never played any of the Final Fantasy (insert roman numeral here) games that everybody raves so much about. mostly they were all for the playstation. brand loyalty to nintendo seemed to go out the window after they made the N64
i did play the original FF game, and i still own all 3 Final Fantasy Legend games for the gameboy. i must say i do rather prefer the whole make your own group aspect. makes it feel like a true RPG as opposed to them giving you some guy and you going about the game. i also own the "zelda like" Final Fantasy Adventure for Gameboy as well
while Capcom may have made a megaman game for the Game Cube, i still hold to my disownment of capcom for megaman's betrayal and defection to another non nintendo system

Those companies stopped being Nintendo exclusive for a reason. Nintendo tends to censor the hell out of everything, even Japan-wise. This is partially responsible for FFVII going crazy on the sleaze and wrong stuff, in my opinion. It was even worse with Nintendo of America, as they censored anything referring to religion as well as anything not "family friendly"
I'd say Nintendo should be abandoned altogether, honestly, as they only focus on the casual gamer now. gonk

As much as I love Pokemon, there's no telling how long that will last. Nintendo could drop that in favor of Brain Age: Gotta touch em all! or some crap like that in its place. Even if they don't drop Pokemon, they might end up dropping the main games and try to live off the name with endless spin-offs. gonk

i suppose i don't see nintendo letting go of that liscense anytime soon. they make so much money off that franchise that it'll probably be one of only a few things keeping the nintendo name alive after they fail and stop making game systems. Elektrakosh I'm more of a Sonic player [2-d stuff] yeah just like that, sonic is one of only a few, if not the only thing keeping the Sega name out there. that is a good example of what i was talking about in my previous posting
