Well i was in church today,
and i was thinking to myself this is kind of like a cult.
Granted i know that is not the best place to be thinking about that, but just think about it:
There are prayers, "rituals", movement(sit, stand, kneel, etc.)
They are all so monotoned and robot(Lifeless, involentary)
They are all done usually every week same time same place.
Priests can look like leaders.
Comments/Thoughts?

I've never really looked at Church that way before, but now that you mention it, I think you're right. eek

One can say a basketball game or card game is a cult activity by that standard. What is the big deal about cults?

Any religion that has a ritual structure is a cult.
The word cult just has negative connotations in our culture.
