My favorite character, would have to be Lina as well. Mostly, because that she is different. I mean from your typical, anime Heroine. Her attitude, her skills, looks ( not aiming at any body part in particular). That and, I have a feeling she has a little bit of the golden lord in her.
My second favorite character, is Xelloss. He is so play full, its hard to tell that he's evil. Until he opens his eyes, then that's when you can tell. But, other then that. Xelloss is so lovable, for a mazoku at least.

My fav character is Lina (as i said once razz ). I like her personality and she is funny^^
My 2nd are Gourry and Luna Inverse. Gourry fits to Lina so well biggrin
I've never seen Luna (just in the openings) but i like how Lina afraid from her biggrin
And did you know that: In Lina's eyes, there is a piece of Shabranigdou. Thats why her eyes are red. I read it in a profile a long time ago ^^

Another un-sung good character is Zangulus. I mean, he was almost as good a swords man as Gourry. That's gotta count for something.
