So, all you music-listeners out there:
Who is your favorite artist/band/group?
AND WHY? I'll start!

Well, I have way too many favorite bands/artists so I'll just name the first one that comes to mind for now.
Linkin Park.
One of the best bands on the face of this planet. They so wonderfully mix the sounds of rock, rap and electronic into their hybrid of a music sound, in which I put them into their own category of genre. Chester and Mike have such great voices and they compliment each other so well. Mr. Hahn has such awesome techno skillz that I adore him! <3 Not to mention the band's amazing lyrics and feelings that you can totally relate to.
Overall, this band has such a good sound and feel to it that you can't help but fall in love with them!

So FiVE I'll be the first to reply to this sad lonesome little part of the guild *sniffle* since I seem to be the only living being on it >_> <_< *tear*

You already know my favorite band BUT I'll state it for all the others to see!

BLEACH! and NO I DO NOT MEAN THE ANIME!
It's an awesome band that's a cross between Smashing Pumpkins and Dashboard Confessional. I don't think many people have heard of them but I absolutely ADORE them ^_^. My absolute favorite song by them is quite frankly tied between "All that's Sweet" and "What Will Your Anthem Be?"

My very favorite J-Rock band. I am very into music, and I always look for proficiency. JDA has proficiency -

Lead singer (yasu)

- wonderful voice (doesn't have to do with proficiency but I just had to bring it up XD
-High range of pitches
-Does not strain voice
-Singing flows (very important to me)
-Singing sounds confident

Guitarist (you)

- pulls off very advanced techniques very well
- playing sounds flawless

Bassist (ka-yu)

- steady in beat in whole song
- pulls off advanced techniques very well

Keyboardist (kiyo)

-beautiful playing (especially when playing keyboard acoustically)
-pulls off advanced techniques very well

Drummer (shuji)

- steady beat
- plays strongly

Also, JDA lets their bassist be heard while many other bands don't, which is really annoying. The songs they write are not repetitive and sound awesome. Also, they don't just play rock music, they are very versatile. Some songs are very energetic, while some are very calm. The songs also have great lyrics and some are about wanting someone to be a better person (song examples below)

- Wild fang: advising person to live life actively
- Dear my: romantic song telling love that she can always be a better person
- Heaven: advising lover to be happy and never give up life because there are always things to live for

I love JDA!
