Ritsuko walked into the library looking for Abby with a few books in hand.
" I wonder where she is..."

When she was sure the old man was gone, Abby came out from behind the pile of books. Then, she spotted Ri.
"Oi, Ri! Over here!"

"What were you doing back there playing hid and seek?" She asked as she sat down at a table and spread out the books in front of her.

"I wasn't playing," pouted Abby. "There was this old guy walking around here just a few minutes ago. He had these black rings around his eyes and he was mumbling something about an apprentice slacking off or something."

" Ah. Well if he comes back just ignore him, I'm sure he means no harm. Anyways, these books are first, second, and third grade level. I'd like to start off with something simple, so would you mind reading this one to me?" She asked handing her the first grade book.

Abby picked up the book and read the title.
"'Cat and Dog Have a Picnic?' You really expect me to read this, Ri?"

" Please don't take it personally, Abby. This is a mere test. I'm going to time you on how fast you are able to read a lower level book than what you are at." She said, pure apology for the book spread across her face.
" It was all I could find."

Abby sighed.
"Well, I guess I'll read this...as long as no one sees me, that is..." Opening to the first page of the book, Abby began reading:
"One sunny day, Cat and Dog decided to have a picnic. 'I'll make the sandwiches and you make the lemonade!' said Cat to Dog. And so, the two best friends went to work...'"
As Abby continued to read, she felt a little embarassed. The only word she had trouble reading was "wonderful," but besides that, she hardly stumbled on any other word. When she finally finished, Abby placed the book back on the table.
"Done."

" That was great. So the only word you really had prblems with was wonderful. So you may have some trouble with 3 consonant words. But we can fix that." She said smiling birghtly.

" It should be less embarassing for you, because it's my brother's, so I think this one will be better for you to read."

 Vivi walked into the library, hoping to ditch Kamoui. All he talked about was Lenalee. Suddenly she saw two girls sitting at a table. She walked over to introduce herself.
