~The World~
(This is the sequel to my book I am writing which is almsot done I might think about sharing it but I am scared of it getting stolen. So I have some strict rules about certian things because iot has to follow my world closely.)
Modern times like today, people know about magic and demons and other creatures. They are low in numbers and usually shunned against. Humans are the rats of the world. Lots of creatures of the night (As they like to call them, even if they aren't all of the night.) Vampires hold the highest respect in the human world along with werewolves. Vampires keep thier stand mostly because they out live all human counterparts so ones that were against them politically or otherwise usually die off before its resolved. Vampires also hold a lot of knowledge of the world before them. Their leader is Nydia even if she rather not be. Only a couple of demons are free range otherwise they are under Treizes rule who has an alliance with the vampires. The mages hold high regard to the demons and vampires (mostly Nydia). Klen is Nydia's mate.
~The Plot~
Will update as much as possible.
Right now war is starting to break out between the loose realtionship with werewolves and vampires. Werewolves have quite a few groups of mages with them its quite political right now. Vampires have the demons which are quite a deal stronger which is why no one has made thier move. There is an old demon older then even Trieze that is ready to take revenge out on everyone for her mothers death. (In the book Nydia's group killed her, Freya and Dras to be precise. Not Nydia herself because they were traveling with humans at the time but thats hardly matter to this rising demon which is Trieze's older sister.)

~Alliances~
Werewolves dislike vampires a lot
Vampires dislike werewolves a lot
Mages go great with all, humans, vampires, werewolves, and demons
Demons like vampires
Humans can be tolerant with all but are not most of the time.
There are of course people who get along with everyone werewolves can have friends with vampires but they would be younger then the older ones for its the younger group that finds tolerance more then adults do.
~Mixes~
I know people like to do half breeds. But your either a werewolf or your not. Your either a vampire or your not. Half demons however do exist, they are stronger then humans but not as strong as normal demons. Half breeds are by no means stronger because human blood delutes the demonic power they could otherwise have. Angels however have not joined this fray. However say a mage ended up having a half demon baby. They would be able to develige themselves into the magical arts therefore be just a stronger mage then normal human mages usually are but only in the darker arts. The natrual magic users however can use thier power through blood they have to use it as thier energy instead of thier will like before.

~Races~
~Dragons~ Not really a great race to play. There are no dragons smaller then a bus. If you play a dragon it probably won't be able to do much until alter on in the story. Currently I have no need or idea on how to let them into this story. But i can make exceptions if you guys have any ideas. ~Vampires~ Come in all varieties. The sun does not kill them but makes them fall asleep. Older vampires can stay up in the sun but it depletes them fast they will sleep within an hour. Stakes don't kill them just incapacatates them until the stake is removed. Which if it is you are sure to have a very pissed and hungry vampire after you since such a wound makes them use lots of blood to heal. They are weak against holy magic it burns them quickly. They are afraid of fire as well and even the oldest of vampires have to stop themselves from freaking out if there is a small uncontrolled fire. A camp fire wouldn't scare them but however it will scare a younger vampire. A lighter in the face might get your head lobbed off out of sheer being pissed off.
However vampires are a cursed race and as they pass on the curse it weakens and branches off in diffrent ways. Some do die in the sunlight as they see it as holy magic and fire placed together. (None sparkle in the sun sorry.) Some vampires have found they don't have to sleep if the sun does not touch them but if it does they fall asleep quickly. There are diffrent variations to be added to this race if you have any other ideas let me know. It doens't just have to do with the sun.
~Powers~ Vampires can be mages but they must be one of the highest level before being changed in order to keep the power. All vampires get one power that improves over the years. ~Demons~ Are the highest of variety. There are ones that can do all sorts of things. Succubus's are demons of love that have no gender. They change to what fits them most. A female succubus has only power over men of course and some lesbians. A male has power over gays and woman of course. When a succubus turns on thier power it can't help but be noticed. Everyone around will be drooling. They steal souls by having sex and can knock a person out with a kiss. All these powers are volentary though. They can lower their power to seduce just one person but others will still turn heads. Shapeshifter demons can change into humans, animals, and diffrent demon forms. They can spread themselves thin and have a couple of forms in each or be in just one and be asble to change into anthing in that form. Makes the greatest spies. Other demon ideas are wide open. Ill add them here.
~Powers~ Depends on their demon type as well they will always be able to use powers as they develop. A demon can learn almsot any skill but it has to be in their blood. A succubus for example can learn to control minds of thier victims after she/he seduces them. Shapeshifter can make small diffrences sharper nose, sharper nails even in human form things like that.~Half breeds~ It really depends on how you wish to make this character they could be half shapeshifter demon therefore only able to take one form. Or part succubus therefore able to seduce people a bit. If mage as well they add onto what magic they know.~Werewolves~ They can also be other animals but they tend to stick together and have very pack mentality no matter what form they are in. The one in highest numbers is the wolf pack. The one in lowest is the snake. However diffrent thier animals are they don't take on the creature world mentaility in fact they consider eachother brothers and sisters. For example a snake could be friends with a hawk shifter. ~Powers~ Most can talk to thier animals in or out of there forms. Some can talk to all. ~Others~ There are still goblins (who hid themselves most of the time) Pixies and fairies are rare or hidden someplace. Dragons are as long lived as the vampires are but they cannot change thier form to human as many beleive they own many mountian tops and the most friendliest dragon known (and one of the oldest) is Loki. Currently in Disneyland. I will let almost any race in just ask me about them and I'll add them here.

~Bloodlines~
(Is your head spinning yet?)
Freya was a talented natural magic user. Which meant the magic was in her not something she takes from other things like mages do. Her magic was in earth magic. She could do things from moving the earth to putting a stone skin on her and healing herself with the greener arts. She could make plants grow to her feelings. The strongest earth magic user noted in history. Most of her bloodline has some talent for earth although it skips around. Her family also has a knack for having twins.
Dras, married to Freya, brother of Klen had no magical powers at all but was a very skilled fighter. Killed many demons in his lifetime, also killed Triezes mother.
Hammil and Lilika both were married and strong magic users. Lilika was a holy magic user, Hammil was mixed and didn't choose a real place to put all his magic in to. Today they would be called mages. Anyone in thier bloodline has a very strong knack to either want to heal or are jsut plain good at magic.
Ty and Duran both human neither had any magical powers. Ty was a thief and Duran was a barbarian, if you related to them then you get boasting rights to being related to someone famous.
(Note: If you are related to any of them note it in your character and you most likely know Nydia and Klen as they visit the families often to share memories.)

~Magics~
(These however are jsut run downs of what you can do not the limit. The sky is the limit if it matches your power and you can justify it.)
~Natrual Magics~ You are born with magic in your blood. You use your strength reserves and will power to use this type of power. Therea re several and some debate whetehr this magic is stronger then mages power because it comes natrually and they seem closer to thier magic.
~Earth~ Allows for the body to heal without consiousness, they can move rocks, make plants grow like flowers. (It takes too much energy to make a tree unless there is two of them) They can also heal vampires and demons because thier magic is not holy.
~Holy~ Although not as natrual as most you must have high faith for this. Your healing powers are legendary. You can also urn vampires with holy light as well as attack in beams of light that can hurt anyone.
~Dark~ No healing power, you can hide in shadows, make it dark and even detect aruas. Great at spies.
~Phychic~ No healing power but you have the power of the mind from telekinesis to protecting yourself with sheilds. A very powerful power indeed. But it saps more then others. Once you run out of energy you will get a headache or get knocked out by the sheer force. Push yourself too far it can make you go crazy.
~Random~ Your power is undecided. Mages would be jealous of this pwoer. As you can do almsot naything in small amounts. To holding a person still with dark chains to blasting foes with a light beam. It runs out quicker but hey it comes natrually at least you can do it!
~Mage Magic~
They can go to fire from healing magics but they need components most carry around items with them that they charged from necklaces to bracelets. Without it they need to find components but a good mage could make a componenet out of dust. Example. Your locked up the little b*****d took your magical item! But there is some mold growing int the corner and you have some water they left you. Yu pour the water on the moss and urge to grow. Breaking a hole into the stone wall. Now you have moss and rock to use. Can you get out? If you put your mind to it.(Note: It takes a lot of time to see the magic in everything in order to use it. You might be limited to seeing magic in large stones and other things. You can also put spell things on items to do certian things when spoken a codeword.)

Weapon: She use to have a flail and mace but in the newer days she is practical and has only a gun.
Bio: After Dras and the others died of old age Nyida and Klen laid down low for a bit. Small wars broke out here and there and they joined sometimes. Many vampires died and left her as the oldest vampire alive. Many look up to her for a leader and as the years past it stuck. She does have a mansion for her many vampires that she takes in. Many come to her for answers and she weeds out vampires she finds shouldn't be around. Gaianame: Raven_silverclaw

Bio: With Nydia for the rest of his undead life. He isn't the oldest like Nydia but he is right in league with Sage in age but only a year older. He helps with most things but enjoys to hanga round more then be busy all the time.Gaianame: Raven_silverclaw

Appearance: Appears to be a 6'3 with black hair that he spikes up. He seems intimidating even in his human form. Quite buff it looks like he works out constantly.
Powers: Teleporting others and himself and charisma
Weapon: None he doesn't need any
Bio: Not much is known about his past other then when he met Klen and Nydia and the rest of the group. He helped them out and in return they helped him with his mother who was ready to kill him off soon. Thus starting a friendship and alliance with them.Gaianame: Raven_silverclaw

Appearance: She has medium light red ahir that she keep down all the time. Her blue eyes are very peircing and she can look like an ice queen sometimes.

Weapon: Her necklace is made of a dragon tear suspended in magic to keep it glass like. It has ice properties and will freezer burn anyone who touches it without the codewords. She holds her magic in it as well.
Bio: After being changed by Klen so she could stay with Trieze. She took over becoming a mage while undead. She is the best yet mostly because she was a mage before she was changed. She currently teaches mages and helps out vampires and demons get settled in.Gaianame: Star Wars Kid Name: Dais Imzadi Gender: Male Race: Demon Age: 486 Appearance:  Power: He can teleport, control dark tendrils, and he is a shape shifter. He can appear as different people as well as animals and creatures that he has thought up himself. Weapon: A black fairy stone that can absorb magic used by enemies, up to 50%. That magic then can be used by the wielder however he or she chooses if it is Mage Magic but if it is Natural Magic it has to be used as the Natural Magic that was absorbed (EX: Someone moves a Rock with Natural Earth Magic and you can only use Earth Magic. EX2: Someone moves a Rock with Mage Earth Magic and you can throw a fireball). Dais had this small black stone put into a magical silver necklace that is unbreakable. He always has it about his neck, the cage that cradles the stone on the necklace is enchanted to weave back to allow the stone to be removed, although this is not necessary to use it. Mastering this stone is extremely difficult, and Dais has had a long time to do so. Finally few know he possesses such a treasure, and fewer still are alive. Bio: Dais is a 3rd cousin of Treize, leader of the Demons. Dais has always coveted a greater position than that which he was born into, and thus has worked hard to force himself up through the Demonic ranks, and now he is one of the most well known and respected of all Demons. Human form: A Dark haired human standing about 5,11 in Gypsy gear He Loves his fur rimed duster jacket and long blue Scarf that he uses as a hat.His eyes are almost reflective and his nails are long, black and retractable. If he smiles one can see that all his teeth are pointed.
Were form 1: A bipedal black anthro Cat standing 6.,5 Reflective eyes and very long claws and teeth.
Were form 2: Quadruped black Cat Measuring 13 Ft from Head to tail.
Power:3 forms. He can produce a mind numbing mist that some find addictive.( works only on humans)
Weapon: His claws are useful in any form.
Bio:Cath is a Beast of Bodmin. The Bodmin Weres long ago out lived the big cats that they sprang from, Yet most still live in the moors of Bodmin. There forms are more primitive then the other weres and so they lack a truly human form. What they lack in control they make up for in monstrous power. Growing up among what he saw as weak minded fools Cath decided to leave home and try his luck in the real world. He soon found other weres and became a bit of a mid level leader to the Weres and even opened a club in the city. All this however is a front for his real work. Cath runs most of the Werewolf and human crime in his city. He is not exactly friendly with Vamps but money is money. Cath is always followed in by his pet cats; including a few big cats that he found here and there. In human form his thralls join the cats. poor humans that became slaves to the mist he can make at a whim. They would gladly die for their master. While he will rarely use his were forms in public he often takes to the streets to feed at night in his monstrous true form. His feline pets will often follow his progress through the city. Earning Cath the Nick name "Lord of Cats" (Open main character slots: Leader of the werewolves, sages brother or son [they are the same age and grew up together as vampires], and Nydias daughter or son. As well as the mage leader.)

Sage sighed as the young vampires and mages seemed to be clashing in her class. It all started with a snap from one which started a full blown war. It was fine for Sage as she watched the two class mates start it. The vampire gave a hiss as the mage made him back away with a small lighter flick. But as soon as one of them used magic to make a flame thrower out of the lighter she jumped in. In a split second she was there holding the mage up by his shirt and the kicking vampire. This young vampire although young to her was in his 20's so he didn't quite appreciate it like the mage who was use to it. "You are here to learn disipline. Whether it be that of the blood or magic." She looked at them both. Throwing them into thier seats which binded them at her command.
"Any other fights?" The kids shook thier heads quietly and quickly. No one wanted to mess with Sage at all her teeth were out which meant one of the fighters had pissed her off severly. But young vampires never learned. "I don't care what you say you just think your all high and mighty because your older? I'm twenty years old not a kid I don't need to learn this bretah in and out crap." Sage smirked. "Is that what you think really?" SHe grabbed the mages lighter from out of his pocket he didn't protest he was smart in that. Sage held it up to the young vampire. "Bretah in and out and relax but since you don't need it and you know so much don't freak."
She lit it. The young vampire tried as he might to rip off the restraints of the chair that was magically holding him it was useless. He went into a frenzy out of fear of the fire. After about 2 minutes of giving him hell she stopped. He was breathing hard. "Have we learned our lesson?" He nodded but she left them bound there and went to the front of the class. "I want all lighters right here now and if you hold out on me I will test my new spells on you." Two mages popped up quickly and handed their lighter to her. "Matches?" She asked as she looked at them all.
One stepped up with hers a vampire actually. One of her best students. "Been practicing I see very good." She gave the vampire a smile. The rest of the class went smoothly. The fighting mage got a harsh draining spell placed upon him after the class though.
A messenger came into the room after the last student left. "Ma'am, a visitor is here to see you." Sage just nodded to let them in.

Dais walked in elegantly as he always did. His clothes, hair, face, and everything about him were perfect and proper but even though he strode for perfection he kept his ego in check, at least outwardly. He nodded politely to Sage, "having fun teaching?"

Sage smiled up at him. "Quite delightful today actually. It saddens me that the magic seems to weaken so much in these times. After all the magic I've seen pass by, these people are weaklings. However I'm sure your here for something else other then chat. Trieze is off on a trip and has left me in charge for a bit." Sage paused. "I suppose however since your visiting you might not mind dinner together. Getting to know Treizes family is hard for me since you demons always seem to run about everywhere. It would be nice to be able to teleport where I wanted."
Sage turned to another servant coming in. "Just send them in i'm not worried about who it is."
Nydia and Klen walked in as well. "It appears everyone decided to visit today. I was wondering some things... it appears I heard about dinner though might be fun are we invited?"
Sage smiled,"Oh course you are." She looked at Klena nd if her heart could pang it would. It wasn't a normal love only a love you could have with the one that made you. Nydia tolerated it as much as she could. But Nydia was sensitive to the emotions around her and everything Sage felt for Klen was picked up by her. Sage had learned control a while ago though so logic reacted more then her body did. She did hesitate and didn't grab Klen's hand. Just gave him a smile. Nydia would know if she activated her power towards Klen so she didn't. Sage turned to Dais. "It will be an intresting evening if you wish to join."

"Ah yes, I was wondering where Treize had gone; and that sounds delightful. I have nothing else planned for the evening. Where would you like to go?" Dais had had some other things planned, but they were no where near as fun or as important as this.

Sage smiled,"My place is alway preferred no eyes and we can indulge in all the right things." Meaning she could eat people from thier living state and not in glasses. Although of course demons ate souls mostly. "I suspect that you'll to start?" She had no need for the soul and it made the drinking the blood easier for they had no will to live after thier soul was gone.
Nydia cringed her nose up a bit but still smiled. She had long ago made her mind up on eating humans to detah. They could stop themselves from killing so why do it? Klen who had been raised by her in his vampire years agreed. A weakness to some that she had passed on. But most vampries followed by it or got hell to pay. Sage was in the dmeon court and got an exception. Nydia didn't approve either way. Then again she had Klen here so she knew Sage wouldn't eat the human completly.
Sage grabbed up some of her mages students papers,"I'm ready to eat either way this day was quite draining on energy." She menat the lighter thing it still took energy to not freak when fire was there but she learned to know if it was under control to not freak. Either way draining a mage was no small task and he would feel it more then her which made her smile. Lifting his arms would be a hassle for about a week then slowly his magic would return.
"Its nice to meet you face to face then just seeing you in the courts." Nydia said politely. "My name is Nydia."
"I'm Klen." Klen said with boredom. He didn't really care mostly it was Nydia's job but he wasn't to be underestimated. He was a fierce fighter and one to not anger. Hurting Nydia was one sure way to do that.

Nydia smiled,"I've seen you around, family of Trieze is always welcome to come to our courts if you ever want to talk about something. Of course I know you demons are about as busy as us. We will see you at dinner i have some things to deal with before we come."
Sage waved them good bye as they disappeared rather quickly for human eyes to follow but they were jsut moving at normal vampiric speed to them both. "If you want you already know where our place is you can teleport to the guest room. The succubus's will attend to you if you want as well. You know all you have to do is ask."

"I need to return to my home first and settle some things, then I will meet you there." Dais bowed and said, "till later then." A swirl of darkness enveloped him, then he was gone. He seemed quite secretive with his statement.
(Exit to Dais' remote fortress (still deciding on where it should be, but basically few know of it))

Dais walked past his servants and guards in the halls. He continued through the keep to the lowest level, the dungeons, many soulless bodies simply walked about the dungeons, without shackles or bars. They had no will to live after all. Dais eventually came to the furthermost and deepest part of his keep: his laboratory.
It was quite a large room, with many books lying about, some were notes and others were texts that he had acquired. There were also many instruments of science and magic alike. Dais believed in a blending of the two, plus it was more fun that way. Dais walked over to check on a large metal sphere with glass windows to look inside. Inside were hundreds, possibly thousands of souls, all tormented. Dais put a hand up against the glass and put in several more, but only the parts that were bad. All of the souls inside were partial souls. They were only the bad parts of a human being: greed, hatred, envy, wrath, despair, and others. As for the good parts Dais digested those just like he would normally. They didn't taste as good, but he would have to put up with it for now. He checked on how the souls were doing, and he concluded it would not be long now. Dais made some notes and then left his lab to return upstairs and go to the dinner party.
(I hope the straining of souls like that is ok)
