lol, so today, my saxophone was malfunctioning. It hadn't been dropped, hit against anything etc. Nothing had been done to it, i had just taken it out of the case. Anyway I was playing a C but it was coming out as a C# because a key wasn't closing. So after band this morning I was trying to fix it. Fixing straight springs, loose screws anything like that. I take a closer look at it and i see... a piece of cork was missing so the key wasn't closing all the way. I was a retard for thinking that cork wasn't all that important. DON'T DO THIS!
Moral:
don't be an idiot, cork is important
