The museum was growing peaceful in the afternoon. The warm glow of the evening sun shone through the large ornate windows, creating sparkles from dust motes that were suspended in the air. The noise and bustle had quietened now. In 2035, it was rare to find the museum so populated as it had been today. Sitting alone on a couch in the museum lobby, Soma reflected on this as he looked up from his random notes scrawled onto his notebook. The refreshing silence was certainly a change from earlier that day, when the new exhibits had first been shown to the public. My research is almost done for those papers I have to write...Soma mused, tucking the notepad away into his coat. However, I want to research those new findings that were brought in today for my own reasons. He got up and made his way to the main auditorium, just down the hall and to the left. Pushing the door open, he gazed around the dusty, dimly lit room. Beyond the red felt ropes that restricted civilian access, there were ornate coffins, ancient weapons, and old fabrics, all obtained from a recent discovery in Europe. A heavy hand fell upon Soma's shoulder, causing him to gasp and turn around. "What are you doing here, young man?" The owner of the hand asked. Soma had been discovered by the museum curator. "N-Nothing, I er, was just leaving." Soma stammered, trying to get past the curator, who kept a firm but gentle grip on his shoulder. "Curiosity got the better of you?" The curator smiled, " I don't remeber seeing you in the earlier exhibition." "You're right, I wasn't." Soma responded, "I wanted to ask--Where exactly do all of these items come from in Europe?" "They were excavated in the ruins of a castle, rumoured to be the residence of the Dark Lord himself, Dracula, if you believe in such things, otherwise it was a find from an ancient castle, with ties to many ancient wars, or so the tomes we recovered say." The curator explained. "I see.." Soma replied, growing uneasy with the exhibit.

She was the manager of the museum. It was almost closing time but people were still checking out the new exhibit. They had found some old ruins of what they thought to be Dracula's Castle. A lot of people were interested, granted most of them were weird goth kids with no life and smelled like cloves but at least it was bringing in some money. She looked at the new night security person she hired the day before hoping that they would do a good job. She was currently keeping the goth kids from 'giving Lord Dracula their blood'.

He had come here upon a friends request. The friend had to work and could not get off, so he was asked to take pictured of the exhibit. He wasn't all that into vampires and folklore and what not but this was for his friend, knowing that later in the week the friend would make him come back.

It was her first day on the job. She didn't really want to be a security guard, she really wanted to be a nurse or train horses but she needed to pay for college and classes and this was the only job she could get. Good thing she was a night owl. Right now she was peeling vampire goth wannabes away from the exhibit. This stuff was really old and rare so the museum couldn't risk it being damaged. A few people even hissed at her so she made a cross with her fingers.

It was finally time for the museum to close. She called out to everyone. "Alright it's time to close! I have a life outside of this place and I would like to get to it! You all are welcome to come back tomorrow" She had to remember to make new signs telling people not to give their blood to the exhibit.

He had still not gotten all of the pictures. He looked around and found somewhere to hide. He watched as everyone cleared the museum.

Finally they were all gone. He got out of his hiding spot and started to take more pictures. It was really eerie there. Like there was a great dark power that was there. He found a red stone. He looked at it. "This is really cool" he said to himself. He was able to take it out of the case. He guessed that the alarm wasn't activated. He felt strange touching it. Like it was once his. It was called the crimson stone.

{just catching up} Soma had evaded the creepy curator's zealous grip and pretended to leave before finally opting to hide away in a peculiar fashion. He returned to the lobby took his seat once more before slumping lifeless into its' folds. A white glow seemed to emanate from his body for a split second before vanishing away up into the ceiling. The few visitors that had bothered to inspect his corpse had no luck getting this 'lazy kid' to wake up and so had left, cursing him from a height. When he was sure there were no more visitors left, the white glow returned from the ceiling and back into his body, reanimating it with a sudden jerk. "I never get used to that." Soma lamented to himself, stretching lazily. He had used the 'ghost' gaurdian soul which allowed him to temporarily leave his body, projecting the idea that he could sleep like the dead. He got up from the seat and made his way back to the exhibit. Now I can get a closer look at those items from Dracula's Castle without that guy bothering me...Soma thought to himself.

A woman in an old fashioned dress was standing in front of the exhibit. She had been there for a while. I hope that you come back soon my love

Arriving now back at the door to the exhibit, Soma pushed the door open a fraction wider so that he could slip in without making too much noise. It was then he noticed a strangely dressed woman standing before the exhibit, in particular she was infront of the morbid row of coffins. I was right to be suspicious of this exhibit...Soma noted...This woman confirms the bad feeling I had, there's something weird about her... Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, Soma then cleared his mind of any uncertainty. If this woman was dangerous, he'd need to think clearly and quickly. He walked over to her, each step echoed inconveniently loud as he progressed, filling the room with a hollow yet continuous sound. "I'd like to know what your intention is for being here..." Soma's voice preceeded him as he came closer to the woman.

She turned around now facing Soma. "I could ask you the same question" she replied. He had and aura about him that she recognized. Could this be him? she asked herself.

Mikaila wondered why she had choosen to camp out at the museum tonight, for a sense of doom lingered throughout the vacant building. she sure hoped the watchman was on his shift tonight. Mikaila decided to explore the building because staying in the wax doll exhibit was creeping her out. maybe she would go towards to coffin exhibit.
