I've started to see the Vampire Hunter D comics come out. I was wonder what everyone thought about them?

I have the first two.
I like them a lot. They have left out just a few things though...but those weren't very important to the story.
The art is pretty sweet.

I've seen the comics!
I really like them...the only thing that I don't like is how they draw the women. They're really skinny with big boobs and a big butt. They make me feel like I need surgery. o .o

If these are the same comics that I am thinking of then I was a little disappointed in them. They are just the books written on comic form. I was hoping that it would be different stories so I was kind of disappointed but I am going to go buy them anyway. I wanna stare at D an his gorgeous self.
And yeah the women are all like super skinny and like have muscular bodies. Also GIANT BOOBS!! I suppose that is to egt dudes to read them though. I find it a little irritating but hey what can you do. Makes you feel a little self concious.

Are you talking about the manga that is being adapted by Saiko Takaki or about the comic-- Vampire Hunter D: American Wasteland? The latter was canceled-- it would have made an awesome franchise had it been released. emo

The manga is still going, but there was supposed to be an American adaptation called Vampire Hunter D: American Wasteland. It got canceled because there were differences that could not be resolved by the publication company and the people who were going to draw/illustrate the comic.

It would have; this was the only released material of this series. Had this series actually made it through the brainstorming stage, I would have bought them all up. Here's hoping that the comic can be taken up in the near future. As for the manga, are you up to date with the volumes? I'm having such a hard time finding the fifth one.
