when I watched inuyasha and first heard the ending theme that boa did xD
i started to really like the song so i looked up online and it started from there

It really actually started with K music <33
Soo my sister and her friend were watching a video of 1TYM and later they asked my friend (my sister's friend's sister) and me who would be better, 1TYM or someone else. And a few days later, on a trip, I was actually listening to 1TYM and yeahhh....LOVE BLOOMED :'D

i was reading shojo beat and i saw an interview with HYDE.
then i was reading another issue a while later where they had and interview with Gackt. i decided to look him up, and i've been adding more and more artists and languages ever since! heart

xDD I actually was reading Shojo beat and they show'd something(what I don't remember) on Ancafe and I was like "Hmmm they look interesting" so I went onto the computer and looked them up and then I was like "Omigod I LOVE this!"...o.o and thats how I got into listening actually to J-rock and J-pop.
K-pop is a diffrent Story..
Super Junior T man and there song "Rokkugo"(thanks to my cousin making me watch it) Ha! but I actually only listened to it that one time my cousin showed it to me and then its like it vanished for like EVER! (My youtube name is Heechulislove and I think at one point I was like who is that again xDD) Well then after like EVER I wanted to listen to that one song again and it took me forever to find it cause I couldn't remember the name and all I remembered was Super Junior T so I looked that up and it went on from that song to the actual Super junior and all their songs. And yet after all that time Heechul is some how still my favorite. All these other bands came along with that.
And on a funny note..I later realized before I started listening to Super Junior that I was listening to Se7en and I hadn't realized he was Korean. Ehe..and with Big bang I wasn't really listening to the group BG I was actually just listening to G-dragon without knowing what group he was from.

For me one of my friend made me listen to her MP3 ,which was full of Korean songs, and i loved it ^-^ I'm really addicted now >.< now my friend wants me to listen to KAT-TUN, haven't done that yet sweatdrop

Hmm it all started in seventh grade when a good friend of mine made me read Bleach. I actaully really liked the first opening, but I it was just 'eh' and I didn't bother to look into it. It was the second opening, D-Technolife by UVERWorld, that made me obsessed. (And they are still my favorite band.)
Ironically, though, I hated the song (and the band) when I first heard it. I have no clue why, but it made me so irritated. After enough times, I learned to really love it and then I started looking up all their other songs and so on and on.
The same friend is why I love so many other bands. He's the one who got me into Alice Nine, ABS, almost all my favorite Japanses bands.
For Korean music, it was a friend of his cousin. We actually didn't know that we knew each other through this guy until a week later. Anyway, she asked me if I had ever heard of DBSK and, after replying 'no' she showed me their video Mirotic and I have been hooked on them since.
