Kaelie dropped onto the bench at the Demeter table and filled up her plate, carefully staring at the food and trying to decide what looked best. She settled on the roll, and pulled it apart to see. Nice and fluffy...and, she thought, made of grain. Demeter would like that. Picking it up, she walked to the flames and stared into them.
'Smite...no...That's wrong.' She sighed, scratching her head and tossing it in. 'Nevermind, Mum.' It felt a bit weird to think that; she didn't want to know what it would be like to say it. 'Thanks for claiming me. Hope I can make you proud.'
Walking back to the table, she sat down and ate.

Jake came back to the table, and, once again, dropped a piece of bread into the flames. " Mom, please bring me some other campers, I'm very lonely."
(( really, there is barely ever a time when more than one person is on at a time))

Jake dropped his fluffiest bun in the sacrificial flame and muttered to himself, "Hope I can make you proud."

Lillian sighs and looks at her plate. She was just about to pick up the roll to give to Demeter but than she realized her mom was probably very tired of them. She grabbed a pile of grapes and held into up to the fire. "To Demeter," She drops in the grapes and walks away. She looked at the little amount of people sitting at her table. Not a whole bunch, hopefully she could be friends with them.
