I sighed and walked up the steps to the Big House. I dug into my bag for a water bottle and drank until it was almost gone.
"Why does it have to be so hot on my first day at camp?" I asked myself.

I looked up, "Yea, its just so dang hot out here. I'm Kortni, whats your name?" i stood up to shake the strangers hand.

As i we walked to the Hermes cabin i answered in a small voice, "I just hope they claim me." I picked up my voice, "I heard that sometimes they dont claim certian children. What if they Dont claim me? What will i do? Will i have to live with out a mom for the rest of my life!?!?!" I shrieked. We were getting closer to the cabin.

(Wow an awful lot of oneliners ._.)
A teenager no older than fourteen years of age walked onto the porch. It was rather hot out, but luckily his leather bag produced a bottle of water he had earlier, but lost. Taking a sip of it, then capping, and pushing it back into the bag, he noticed a few other people. He wondered exactly who they were, but wasn't curious enough to actually speak to them. He knew his hair must be rather wet as he had to walk here for about five miles, yeah that hadn't been fun for Aaron.

Walking from the beach Syen had seen the girl enter the big house. It was a fitting name. Syen didn't know if he should go in or not so he just sat down on the stairs.
