The Man who fell to Earth for me. Great story, I liked the movie better than the book. Powerful acting. Great effects for the time...

I enjoyed both The Hunger and Labyrinth. Why? The Hunger was just sexy. Meanwhile, Labyrinth was magically enchanting. I loved the Masquerade scene. Absolutely luscious.

Labyrinth holds a really special place in my heart, cause I love Jim Henson movies, and this one was the reason fell in love with Bowie's music in the first place! With that being said, I also really like The Linguini Incident (great romantic comedy,) The Man Who Fell to Earth, and the Hunger (but I wish he was in it more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

And we shall teach rock 'n' roll to the world . . .
I love Labyrinth. It's amazing and David Bowie makes a good goblin king.

@Hermes: I couldn't agree with you more. I saw a behind the scenes for Labyrinth, and Jim Henson said he knew he wanted an iconic figure. He also said that at first he was maybe considering Michael Jackson or I think Sting... I couldn't even picture either of them as the Goblin King. I think Bowie was perfect for it!

Woah! Labyrinth is winning by a landslide so far!! Why am I not surprised??!
It is a great movie, but I still gotta go with his more serious roles..
p.s. He is equally eye-catching in The Man Who Fell to Earth!

BASH has something to say! The Labyrinth, of course! 1) He looks sexy. 2) The Bowie bulge. Gotta love them tights. 3) Jim Henson. 4) It's not CG! It's all puppetry. 5) My first experience with David Bowie. When I first saw it (5 or 6) I fell in love with him. Haha. That will be all.

That's why I love it too! I hate CG! I wish they would have more puppets in movies today! I though the Jim Henson movie Mirrormask was a disappointment in the fact that there was not 1 puppet! How do you NOT have puppets in a Jim Henson flick!! rolleyes

The labrynth razz I've always loved it, everything about him in it mesmerised me, the hair was amazing, (the tights could have been a little LESS tight though XD), his voice was just enchanting in a way, Music was all great and I bought the soundtrack too smile and the masquerade ball scene is my fave, 'as the world falls down' is actually one of my favourite songs that he sang and wrote smile It's beautiful biggrin
