To anyone worried about getting sick, feel like you're coming down with something, or in the middle of something that you know will last another few days to a week; I have a solution.

Garlic.

That's it. Garlic. This herb is more well-maintained and more powerful than the best artificial anti-bacterial/anti-fungial/anti-paracitical medicine(s) in the world. If, say, you get the flu, you can crush up a bulb of garlic into your eggs in the morning, srinkle some on your dinner that night, and it'll be gone in one day. I know, I've tried it. Anytime there's bad sickness's going around work that everyone seems to be getting, I take concentrated garlic pills once per day. I never get sick that way anymore and always recover faster because, once sick, I start eating a little garlic from time to time.

Just to spread more awareness, I wanted to point this out.

You have to be careful though, as garlic (and onions) are known by Buddhist monks to absord Qi. According to "them" (lol specific I know) garlic (also onions) is only to be ingested when it is served as a marinade on meat so that it might draw out any dark energies that the animal may have accumulated over the course of it's life.

Lol but seriously, listen to this guy; garlic does wonders for a persons immune system.

Hmm, you learn something new every day.

Though, I should mention an obvious disclaimer, which is to not do this constantly. To do so would be, in my view, the equivalent to living a completely sterile life, which deprives your immune system of the ability to fight for itself. If used the way I suggest, however, your body will still have an opportunity to build new antibodies before the garlic helps to kill what ails you.

Thanks for reminding me.

haha I thought garlic wasn't supposed to be made for offerings because it made our breath smell bad and that would offend ppl making it harder for them to pray. haha

jk

on that same note for food trivia...why did Confucius eat ginger with every meal?

I feel EXTREMELY awkward in saying this since I already made many points in the forums today, topping the fact that everyone has already agreed with you and you seem to be a highly intelligent person..

..but.. ..garlic is both bad AND good for you. So you are correct, but you forgot a few pieces. Ya see.. what garlic and onions do is take most everything in its path through your body along with it including pathogens, viruses, etc. That includes the time when it is going through your liver.

Now, before I go on, I can prove this fact to you. Put on some rubber gloves and grab a clove of fresh garlic. Rub the garlic on your bare foot, throw away the garlic (unless you want 'fresh' garlic that has been rubbed on your foot..) then take off your gloves and throw them away. Smell your hand. Remember, you NEVER touched the garlic with your hand. Only your foot. But your hand will STILL smell like garlic.

Garlic can be good AND bad. It can take everything that is in your liver and spread it around and make you sick, or it can take everything in your poor sick body and wipe it out quickly (helps to drink A LOT of water and food that makes you poop).

But as a side effect of each, garlic also clouds up your brain and makes it difficult to think straight. As stupid as that sounds, try it out and see what I mean. Fluoride also has the same effect. It is in tap water, tooth paste, and another word for it is Prozac. When a doctor gives you Prozac, it is just to keep your mind off of your illness. Trust me, I would know. There is more behind that but I won't go into it because it's a story that truly pisses me off and others might find it offensive.

I still don't know how you are going to react to that... xD I'm half afraid of getting yelled at. =x Just trying to help. =S You don't have to take my word for it.
