To begin with, Asprin and other such things have been linked to birth defects generations later. I have yet to research too terribly hard over this, but my perspective as a consumer is, "Why should I take any risk?"
In turn, I have found an alternative to Asprin and other such over-the-counter medications for headache relief. Ume Plum Extract. Normally used as a digestive aid, it has been shown to relieve headaches, on average, in ten seconds with just a teaspoon.
I've used it for years, and it does work. Put a little dab on your food, headache's gone.
Just wanted to get this information out there in case anyone is interested enough to research it themselves and try to stay more healthy.

Rabid Irishman Excellent advice, although according to the link you provided this herbal remedy is not for those with weak wallets. True. I suppose I should amend my advice to include the fact that this not an efficient remedy for those who suffer from headache's on a consistent basis. In such a case, they should find an alternative that is more suitable to them. In the case of those who get headache's on a semi-regular basis, with how much comes in one jar and how much is to be used for this purpose, I still haven't gone through a whole jar in one year. For the purposes of those who get headache's on an inconsistent basis, it works wonders.

That's what I always do.. but I get impatient with illnesses and head aches.. so I want fast relief. Even if it doesn't last long, at least I have a little till the water kicks in. >w<

It helps to drink plenty of water every day, being it that it makes up most of the human body.
