I guess looking back on my childhood, you could say I started showing signs of vampirism around the ages of 7 or 8. But being an ignorant little kid, I likened these traits to spiders rather than vampires. So at one point I had thought maybe I was part spider. razz
Initial awakening stages started around 15 or 16 years old. I had started to astral hunt and was going out, even learning from mentors there, oddly enough. Feeding at that time was like clock work every couple months.
At 17/18 I had learned about the vampiric community and about psi-vampirism. I had still been astral feeding at that point and really had no need to psi-feed, but did learn how to anyways just to do it.
At 19 and 20, my symptoms got worse and I needed to step up feeding. This was also the time where I had to accept what I was, and on and off would struggle with even calling myself "vampire". I had learned to psi-feed and it helped at times, but didn't at others. I watched my astral hunts go from every couple of months to every couple weeks, and then that other hunger arose.
From then on I started getting my steaks rare, it helped tremendously to dull symptoms. And that, paired with the normal astral feeding, worked. Then there were times where I wasn't able to get a steak or astral feed for months. I get terribly ill; Overall sensitivity increases. Sun and light are a burden. Even being around people had been a chore just to keep myself under control. Often making me sick with panic.
Every year I age, it seems like my Need increases.
I do have a human source now, and I'm happy to have him. wink
Though, I should be practicing to find more sources.. just in case one runs away or something.
And yeah... awakening never really ends. Always finding new things.
