we have a video gaming thread, why not a table gaming thread? just for clarification, i'm including everything from Sorry to Chess to D&D to Boggle to Magic the Gathering. yeah ok, magic is a card game but you play it on a table, don't you? thought so.

5) Something you find interesting about the game or an interesting story about when you played the game (getting all the money in Monopoly, getting 5 points off one letter in Scattergories, whatever)


i'll start

1) chess
2) i love the fact that when i'm sitting there across from somebody at the board i can intimidate them with tactics and see their terror when they realize they're checkmated twisted
3) i've kinda been around it forever, but none of my family members were really into it. i got really interested in high school and i joined the competitive chess team.
4) about 4 years seriously
5) i think it's interesting how many styles can be developed and blended into one.

1) 40k
2) kick a** monsters, demons and giant robots
3) stumbled across it when i was 6
4) the last 11 years
5) making up a story as you go along and then seeing how it turns out in the end

1) D&D - so what? Im not that much of a nerd
2) Creating the char.
3) Dad and Uncle started it
4) Dunno. A Year?
5) Interesting: i quit ;___; to do school and i never told them that i was going to quit.
