For those of you who have dull or greasy hair here is a cheap easy solution.
HAIR SALAD Shopping List: Mayonnaise [skip mayonnaise if your hair is greasy it will make is MUCH worse]
Vinegar
{if you have greasy hair omit steps 1 and 2}
Step 1. Put as much mayo in your hair as you possibly can. Really pack it in until it is literally dripping.
Step 2. Put a plastic bag on your head so you don't make a mess. Keep the mayo in your hair for about 20 minutes.
Step 3. Rinse your hair out with vinegar. The vinegar will cut through any excess oil and dirt leaving your hair very shiny.
step 4 wash and style as usual.

Rabid Irishman ::NOTE:: This treatment will NOT get rid of your dog's fleas. *wink wink* *nudge nudge* *inside joke inside joke* Aww you get the point. ok I'll explain this. My mom discovered that packing your head with mayo somehow gets rid of lice so I thought it might work on fleas... sweatdrop

you need to be a little careful with this and not leave it in too long! also if you wanna strip the extra oil out of your hair (or fabric) mix a little vodka with your shampoo! it will strip all the oil you just have to make sure you have a great conditioner to follow it up with!

Erm.. won't just regular alcohol work instead of Vodka? Or is there something special in the Vodka that makes it work? XD

I've heard about that, and as soon as i run out of my plastic bottles of shampoo and conditioner i brought back from India, i'll be switching over to washing my hiar with baking soda, and using a vinegar rinse once a week, or so. The sites i've read reccomend Apple Cider Vinegar, which is more organic, and also cooler.

Metempsychotica Erm.. won't just regular alcohol work instead of Vodka? Or is there something special in the Vodka that makes it work? XD I think its because of different things that have to do with vodka....but its worth a shot to try other alcohol if you want. I use vodka to degrease things in general though...I have a big bottle but I dont drink haha.
