The Beast-kin are easily mistaken at first glance to be animals. They are
however a complex mix of creature and spirit. The beast-kin live in tune
with nature, organised mainly in large feral groups. Beast-kin are almost
as diverse as changelings in their physical aspect as they can be derived
from virtually any animal spirit. They are mostly uncomplicated in
character, being so close to their spirit nature, they live in the moment.
Beast-kin have a naturally thick pelt, scales, or hide, giving them extra
protection against physical attack.

Little is understood about the changelings other then that they are only
partially physical creatures, the other half being made up of the essence
of magic of magic. Their Physical Appearance of these creatures are
always a reflection of their inner personality. Due to the fact that they are
only half physical, changelings have a diminishing constitution but due to
their magical ability they have more potent spells.

Elves are one of the oldest races in the land and are often seen as aloof
and condescending. Elves are a high nature-respecting race, choosing to
live within loose woodland-dwelling tribes. Elves are highly intellectual and
artistic favouring style over function, an arrogant race with a deep seated
understanding of their own importance.
Elves have the ability to hide and camouflage becoming almost invisible.

Humans are one of the youngest races in the lands, due to this they are
perceived with contempt and restrained tolerance by other races. They
are the most versatile race, living in diverse habitats and can adapt
themselves to the mastery of most tasks. Humans are sometimes
perceived as Hastie and ill cultured peoples with a tendency to
self-absorbed imperialism. They have little respect for nature and can be
a very destructive race. Due to the multifaceted nature of humans they
are given the ability to be a jack of all trades.

Following a catastrophic event, previously mindless undead suddenly
became aware of their own existence, their souls and bodies violently
hurled back together without any warning. Not living, Not dead, but true
undead either they exist apart from the rest of the worlds... they are the
lost. The Lost resemble living corpses in various states of decay. Some
are relatively fresh or have been embalmed to preserve them while
others have barley any flesh at all. While lost can regenerate wounds
inflicted after their return, they can never fully heal their bodies and so
will always appear at least partially decomposed.

The Wraiths a re a mixture between the changelings and the lost, they are
essentially the undead, but are spirits that have be bound to the world for
reasons beyond knowing. They tend to be spiteful and sickening creature,
taking on a form usually taken from their own nightmares, some can be
seen as a headless centaur where others can be naked mortals bound in
barbed wire and branded with iron. These are the tortured souls that
walked the planes of the world, the can only just interact with the physical
lands and are rarely anything to worry over, however their appearance is
still enough to make anyone who sees them scared.

The witches and warlocks are the children of a clan once passed, usually
friendly and in tune with nature they are able to manifest the spirits and
magic around them into different forms, such as balls of energy to push
someone over or into another creature like a spectral animal. They have
the ability to bend things to their will almost like telekinesis and can
almost summon demons to their will after hours or ritual summoning.
However they are not all powerful, their spells can often backfire on
themselves and they cannot heal a wound using magic.

The vampires are a relatively old race, born of the product of magic and
demons these creatures bare a remarkable resemblance to humans,
However are not related in any manner at all. Living in the darker and
more over cast areas they hide from the light which stings their skin and
burns their eyes.
Vampires in these lands are not immortal, they live to a ripe old age in
their thousands but will never live forever. They are a very selfish and
restrained race, caring little for the other races around them, and
however dependant on mortals they are for food they would never love
one.
Vampires in these lands are only ever born of another vampire, they are
not sired nor made and can never be bred between a vampire and any
other race. There are no half breeds.
