Sasuke stared blankly at the ceiling in his room. His hands were behind his head as he lay in his bed, thinking.

Sasuke had the sudden urge to go to Konoha. He wasn't exactly sure why, thought. Maybe he was curious as to what had changed. He'd have to be careful though to avoid detection. Then again, he was very good at going unknowticed. Even Orochimaru and Kabuto had trouble finding him when he was secretly training. It wouldn't be long before he learned everything he could from the snake sannin. Sasuke sat up and looked at his lap this time, desiding on what to do. He got up and walked out of his room, passing Kabuto in the halls.
The medic questioned the Uchiha as to where he was going. "Out" was his only answer.

Kabuto frowned to himself. There's something off about this guy, I get the feeling he's hiding something He watched the young man leave, coldly through the door. Kabuto stood to follow him when:
"Kabuto, what are you doing?" the familiar man's voice hissed close behind him. Kabuto whirled to face Orochimaru, his dark eyes meeting the snake-like slits. "I was just going for a walk, sir" Kabuto answered dutily. "You're going after our new member, aren't you?" He hissed. Kabuto gave a stiff nod. "You needn't worry, Kabuto, he's proven himself more than worthy for me. Besides abandoning your posts is considerablely being irresponsible!" His wide smirk deepened. "It isn't wise to put so much mistrust in our teammates, it will bring your down fall. Now leave our new member be or else!" He growled as he vaporized into thin air.
Kabuto scoffed. It is your lack of judgement of character that will be your fall Orochimaru...

The group stopped. "We'll camp here and enfiltrate it tomorrow after we are all rested. We're two miles away so there's not much chance we'll be found, but we should take turns as lookout," Satoshi explained.

The night was cold and they couldn't light a fire without giving away their position. Naruto was snoring loudly while Sai and Satoshi lay on their sides, supposedly asleep.
Satoshi rolled over and tried to cover his head with his blanket. 'He's loud as hell.'

Sakura sat on one of the nearby large rocks that was close to the group, and wrapped the thin blanket closer around herself watching the black nothingness.
Her nimble fingers shook as another cold breeze whipped her hair this way and that and she wrapped the blanket tighter around herself. She frowned at this.
Why did we have to go on a mission in such cold weather. It's too damn cold!
She lets out a sigh and continues to watch the black nothingness in silence.

A warm hand touched her shoulder before Satoshi sat next to her. "You know, sitting on a rock is colder than the earth," he said softly, looking up at the clouded night sky. He took a slow deep breath before exhaling slowly. "It'll rain tomorrow...or snow."

Sakura leans into his hand absentmindedly.
"Regardless I'll still be cool." Sakura looks up briefly and sees the cloudly sky and frowns deeply. "And I'll be more cold tomorrow. How come your so warm? " She jabs his shoulder lightly with her finger and looks back down at him.

Satoshi put on a stupid grinned. "Because I'm hot." The grin became a soft smile. "I can share some heat if you want." He stood up and grabbed his blanket before setting back down beside her. "Besides, I can't sleep with the Dobe's loud snoring. If he were any louder, he'd allert the Sound ninja to our location."
Satoshi wrapped the blanket around him and lifted up an arm for her to slip into and under the blanket. "Well? Yes or no?"

Sakura gives him a sweet smile and quietly slips under his am and nuzzles her head against his chest and settles herself there. "Thank You." She says quietly and is glad she could get some warmth.
He is so different from Sasuke. He's like his completely opposite...But he remembers me so much of him, He even calls Naruto "Dobe". Ugh...What's going on with me?

Satoshi's arm moved around her shoulder protectivly, pulling her closer. "You're welcome."
Half an hour or so passed before he spoke again. "Do you like me?"

Sakura noticed the protectiveness in his hold around her but didnt mind it at all. She sort of liked it. Sure the others held her the same, Kakashi and Naruto, though she felt different in Satoshi's hold.
After a half an hour passed, as she continued to look into the blackness of the night, she heard him speak and listened to his question.
"I like you as a friend. More than that, I'm not certain at the moment." She answered honestly. She didnt know how she truly felt about him though. But she knew something was there, like a spark.
Ultimately, she just wasn't sure. "Why do you want to know?"

He didn't say anything for a while. Why did he want to know? It's not like it was important. At least...not till Itachi was dead.
