Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Discussion suggestions: how this amendment has been interpreted, how this amendment is under attack, how/if this right is granted in other countries

Should we create a forum for each amendment?

Yeah. I mean, we let idiots shout the "evils of capitalism" and demand that we become socialist, even though they're wrong, because this amendment exists.

ExACTamundo! I'm actually thinking of exercising the first amendment right to peaceably assemble...

We do that at the court house sometimes in Whiteville. One woman goes out there to protest high taxes.

I'm thinking more like an organized march, but if there's a Con in Indianapolis that Gaia is gonna be at, I might think of renting a room at the Hornet Park Community Center (just a small activity room) where members of the guild that are going can just hang out for a bit, talk with other guild members, scarf some chips and other snacks, guzzle some pop and whatnot.

That'd be cool but... I probably wouldn't be able to go though. Maybe in like a few years if we're still around. That's a ways away from here in North Carolina. But it's still a good idea.
