The idea has been thrown around at Atlus, and now that Persona 4 and Devil Summoner 2 have been released: wouldn't it be possible for a next gen game to be in the works? If so, which of the series will it be incorporated with (Persona, Devil Summoner, Digital Devil Saga, MegaTen)?
(Note: this does not include Devil Survivor and the Persona remake)

..or include the P3 remake either...
I think it'll take until 2011 for Atlus to switch gens. There are still people out there who can't afford the PS3. (Ah, at this rate of their game release, I can't even afford a PSP! XD) I think they're in the middle of a portable game wave... Perhaps afterwards, they'll make a next gen game.
I would eventually like to see a SMT game on the Wii. The only RPG I know of on it is Tales of Symphonia 2, which absolutely sucked compared to the original. (Then again, the original one of the best GC games ever.)
The Wii needs a good RPG/SRPG.

I agree with Keisuke,
It does seem that Atlus, is becoming more handheld oriented. If you havent seen it, they have a game on the ps3 coming out called Demon Souls, I dont know much about it though.
And yes, the wii needs more RPGs

While you say the Wii needs more RPG's, you must realize that the Nintendo is selling itself out for casual gamers. Face it, you're going to get a lot more Wii Play's and a lot less Fire Emblem's; whereas, Sony has always been the RPG giant and will be churning out White Knight Chronicles, Final Fantasy XIII (and Versus), Heavy Rain, The Last Guardian, and the like. Basically.. Don't hold your breath.
Now for Wii RPG's you've looked over:
* Alien Syndrome * Arc Rise Fantasia * Baroque * Call for Heroes * Code Lyoko: Quest for Infinity * Dokapon Kingdom * Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors * Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers * Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon * Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn * Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon * Little King's Story * Marvel: Ultimate Alliance * Monado: Beginning of the World * Monster Lab * Muramasa: The Demon Blade * Rune Factory: Frontier * Super Paper Mario * Sword of Legendia * Tales of Graces * Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World * Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga

And yes, the wii needs more RPGs Yes, Demon's Souls is a confirmed release for PS3 on October 6, this year; however, it isn't a Shin Megami Tensei game... just an Atlus game. That's like comparing Baroque to Nocturne-- apples to oranges. But, however biased my opinions are, Demon's Souls looks like a tech-run to me (i.e. using the game as an excuse to see what they can get away with on the new system). Here's a link to an in depth review: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps3/review/R133488.html

I should probably check some of these out. It's depressing that the casual games get more publicity than the others. Don't even get me started on Wii Music. scream

If you consider the GBA/GBAXP to be linked with the GC, then yes....
Then again, no one makes last gen portable games anymore. (Unless there's one I never heard of...)

Well, from what I understand, Persona 5 is currently in the works for PS3, and both Persona 2 games are getting PSP remakes. That kinda sucks, because when the remakes hit, the value of my black label copy of Persona 2: Eternal Punishment will drop like a rock...
