User Name: Marcus_Macheath
Character Name: Kirus Ezran
Species: Turian
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 185 lbs
Eye Color: Copper
Physical Description: Kirus wears the facial markings of the Parthia colony. He stands fairly tall for a Turian, and is in peak physical condition, having trained enthusiastically for military service since age 15. His face, almost white near his chin and nose, is a lighter colour than the rest of his head, becoming a darker brown past his eyes and forehead. His mandibles are also this dark brown colour.
Background Summary: Although he was born and raised on Palaven itself after his parents repatriated to the Turian homeworld, he still bears the markings of the Parthia colony. Since Parthia was still their 'home', he was thus marked with its insignia, and wears it with pride. His father wanted nothing more for his son than to see him thrive as an officer, either in C-Sec or the Turian military. His keen mind made Kirus more than capable as an officer, and Kirus stayed with the military for several years before transferring to the Citadel at age 20.
He joined C-Sec's Investigation Division, but took up arms with all the rest when the Citadel came under attack during the Sovereign Crisis. He was instrumental in the effort to evacuate the Council to the Destiny Ascension, effectively commanding C-Sec Special Response troops and holding off the Geth while the Council was loaded onto shuttles and flown safely to the Asari flagship.
Kirus' two brothers, who served in the Turian navy, were on the ship that Sovereign plowed through on its way into the Citadel as the Council tried to close the Ward arms to keep it out. They both died, and as a result, Kirus has little sympathy for humans who claim that humanity sacrificed 'more' in the battle. Which is not to say that he dislikes humans entirely - in fact, he's somewhat enamoured with human music, particularly classical and rock'n'roll, either of which he likes to listen to while he's working on case files.
Like most Turians, Kirus believes in honour and personal accountability, but doesn't believe, like some C-Sec officers, that the Spectres are dangerous. In fact, he admires the Spectres and wishes that he could live with the kind of freedoms that they enjoy. In this way, he shares the mindset of Commander Shephard's companion and former C-Sec officer Garrus Vakarian, with whom he was casually acquainted. He believes, as Garrus did, that the red tape that C-Sec saddles him with gets in the way of justice. Kirus, however, stayed with C-Sec and continues his work, knowing that if he continues his exemplary service, his work will pay off and perhaps he'll be targeted for Spectre training.
