Allow me to present to you two scenarios that I know to have occurred.
In the first, a psi-vampire fed from an individual without permission, and that person was one of the few who has a very, very bad reaction to having their energy taken. They became very ill. In this situation, it was dangerous for the unsuspecting donor.
In a second situation, a psi-vampire fed from an individual without permission, and the individual was aware of their feeding and did not like it. They were skilled at energy manipulation, and essentially castrated the psi-vampire's feeding abilities. The vampire starved. In this situation, feeding without permission was clearly dangerous to the aggressor.
Taking energy without permission is dangerous, not to mention extremely unethical. Never act as if it is not a big deal simply because the donor is unaware; it is STILL stealing. It could have very negative consequence for you or the donor.

i noted in another thread that it can be bad to take energy while doing reiki.

For one thing reiki is about using your energy to heal, not take. And someone needing reiki might have messed up energy anyway... which further illustrates why feeding from certain people can be dangerous for them.

I know hun, but by doing that for the psys that cant exactly control themselves could be bad because they could accidentally take it

Stealing energy without permission is only dangerous if you cannot contain energy in a controllable manner. Thats why feeding off specific emotions (Unless you have negative energy training. Which I can Teach) Is much less dangerous.

Uh, if someone tries "Borrowing" any of my energy without my permission they're in for a treat. By treat I mean they aren't going to feeding for a long long time.
"Oh, but, that's horrible! We get sick without the energy" And? It's mine and you took it. I don't find that agreeable and thus you are dealt with.

From what I've understood any use of energy without permission can cause problems/be unethical. I don't know much about the consiquences for vampires but I know from a witch standpoint doing magic on/for somone without their knowledge can be problematic more so for the practioner than the one being preformed upon.

I personally don't give ethics to food..
If the energy is there and I want it, I'll take it. I'll only ask if I actually like the person..
N for all the people simply going around saying "OH YOU MUST ALLWAYS ASK!" try going up to a person in the street and say "hey can I drain your energy to feed from?"
Not as easy as you would think... If someone started feeding from me and I realised, as long as they stopped when I ask I don't tend to care.. I won't hurt them, because things need to live, only if it becomes a direct attack will I retaliate..

Well, that just doesn't seem very empathetic. I almost consider that stealing. Of course I understand you can't always ask, but I would think you would want to at least try take someone's personal choice into the matter. That's like saying rape's not rape just because you never gave them the chance to say 'no'

Yeah, it's stealing, but it's not like they don't get it back after a while anyway, so it's more like borrowing, without permission

Right, lovely, your one of those sick bastards who think rape is just surprise sex.
Some people can't regenerate energy that easy, it takes them weeks to gain back what someone stole in a day. I'm not saying that you'll always be able to get someone's permission, but given the chance, I think you should. Not to mention you don't know what type of energy that person has, if their energy is extremly negative and you absorb that, then it can't be good for your health.

I agree with you Brokensoul. Plus there are those who don't give a s**t more than the person who's 'borrowing' and will have no problem castrating the borrower's feeding abilities, or if a sang tries to attack someone physically to feed , that vamp will most likely get the s**t beat out of them. Which they deserve for trying to do something not just wrong, but stupid. And this is coming from a sang. wink

The rape thing was a joke...
The negative energy part doesn't effect me as that's what I primaraly drain from when I do psi feed. Plus as I said, I don't give ethics to food. I'm an a*****e, but a surviving a*****e..

For now you're a surviving a*****e. Eventually, you'll find someone more powerful than you, feed of off them and there will be serious consiquences. Then you'll be a sick a*****e with no one to blame but his stubborn self.
