((As if anyone still looks here)) OK, to everyone who reads this, please note, this is not a personal attack against anyone, I have noticed this in several guilds, and not all of them include the people in this guild. I am sure I am also guilty of this too, so keep that in mind as you read the rest of this.
I have a suggestion for a new rule that I was also contemplating in Thalassa: A sort of 5-post dodge limit. (not sure how you'd actually want to word it.) This means that when you are in a fight, you can dodge hits for up to five posts, in that time, you should have been hit, if you haven't, there should be something sort of like they have to take the hit unless it is a blow that would kill them (please keep this exception in mind.) That is my suggestion, please think it through before making your decision.
And, seriously, no one, no one, post "oh, this is directed at me." it is not! I already stated, this is just a problem in many roleplays, and I think we should try and prevent it, because I know that its annoying, and I'm sure you do too. And if you say no, please back it up with a reason, I'm up for some debate.

I sort of agree with this but, ultimately, I say no. Some people have characters that have sets of abilities that make them very good dodgers of attacks and others done. Some people/characters are far more creative than others and that allows them to dodge the attack. That's where the challenge that most people, or at least me, enjoy the most.

Lieutenant Jet I sort of agree with this but, ultimately, I say no. Some people have characters that have sets of abilities that make them very good dodgers of attacks and others done. Some people/characters are far more creative than others and that allows them to dodge the attack. That's where the challenge that most people, or at least me, enjoy the most. But that in and of itself is a problem, everyone makes characters that are good at something, and if someone can just say that they are good at that and it allows them to constantly do it, that's not fare to anyone else. If you just say you're a good dodger, so that means you can dodge everything, that's just cheap. Look, note this, five posts, which equals to ten from both people involved, should be plenty of time, because you know what? People that say they are good dodgers and can dodge a lot, dodge everything! Hey, my character's a good fighter, that doesn't mean he can hit every move!
