Lost in Paradise Just a few days ago a ship crashed on an island that nobody had ever been on. It was not marked on the map that the captain had. Most of the ones that had survived were seperated. Although most of the crew and passengers died. The captain was one of the first that had died when the ship crashed into the reef off the shore of the island and many loved ones were never found. As some went alone further into the island they found mystical creatures that could talk and communicate. As the days went by more of the passengers died, and the ones that survived gathered what they could and headed off the beach.To start roleplaying post your profile and remember to follow the Gaia rules. Also no godmoding or killing other characters without permission from them.

Appearance:Profile: Gaia name: Tefezia Character: Yukia Age: 16 Human/Mystical Creature: Human Ablities/Skills: Unknown Appearance:  Yukia was just sixteen and was on a family vacation with her mother and father. When the ship had crashed she washed up on shore. It seemed that the ship was just peices of boards that were broken and split apart. As she spit the sand out her her delicate mouth she looked arround on the beach and seen that she was the only person. She thought to her self that all the others must have drowned or worse. Part of her hoped that others survived the crash and were washed on shore further down. As she she pulled herself up into a sitting position she realized that her throat was burning along with her lungs from the salt water. She tried to take a deep breathe as she sighed, but it hurt. Within seconds tears rolled down her face as she realized that she may not ever see her parents again.
After a few minutes she wiped the tears from her face and stood up. She had made a decision to search for her parents and any others that had survived the crash. With her lungs still burning she started to walk down the beach to what looked like more reckage from the ship that she was on. As she peered out onto the beach she could see miles and miles of endless reckage.

Profile: Gaia name: southern_belle_onyaka Character: Ariane Age: 22 Human/Mystical Creature: human Ablities/Skills: concert violinist, she also has an amazing singing voice Appearance:  Ariane had been traveling to her next booking by boat when the boat crashed into an island. It was dashed to many tiny pieces of wood. She awoke on a beach clutching her violin case so hard her knuckles had turned white. She coughed as sand scatched her throat, looking to her right then left she saw no signs of life. She would be surprised if anyone else had survived the crash. That was the moment when she thought of her beloved fiancee who had been traveling with her. He had never been a strong swimmer, if he hadn't washed up on the beach he had most likely drowned. She began to hyperventilate just thinking about it, she knew that she must calm herself down before she passed out. Carefully she unlatched her violin case there was no danage to the violin, which made her glad to have spent the extra money for a waterproff case. She raised the violin resting her chin on the pad, brought the bow to the strings and began to play. As she played the violin sang the saddest song, Ariane felt as though it was weeping with her. After she had a good long cry she placed the violin back in the case. She picked herself up and began walking along the path of the wreckage hoping to find other survivors.

It was just around noon when Yukia seen bodies laying on the beach. She ran towards them to see if any were still alive. As she came to the first one she bent down and seen that he was already dead. Her hope was starting to sink that she wasn't going to find her parents. She headed to the next body to find the same thing only before she bent down she noticed a peice of wood sticking out of the mans neck. Her stomach turned and she threw up next to him. She couldn't look at him any more. She walked further down still not seeing any alive. She seen a women laying face down in a red dress. Her heart began to tud faster as she realized that was the same dress her mother wore. As she rolled her mother over she noticed she was drained of her life. Yukia screamed "NO!!!NO!!!" She laid her head down on her mother as she cried and screamed not wanting this to be.

Gaia name: bubba_kyale Character: Garmut Age: 29 Human/Mystical Creature: Mystical, minatar Abilities/Skills: Great hunter and protector Appearance:  Garmut was out hunting when his ears found something screaming. It sounded like it came from the beach, not to far away. With his spear in his hand he headed towards the west beach. Cuatious from the sound of the scream he got close to the edge of the tree line and looked out. He seen a human girl sitting there crying. He stayed quite and well hidden while he watched the human. He had only seen few humans that were on the island, but had heard stories of them living on other islands. Something must have brought the girl here. He knew that she wouldn't be the only one. Garmut stared longer at the girl as he noticed she was crying over another one. He glanced on the beach and seen that there were more bodies laying spread out not moving. He had to go roport this to the master of the island. For the master would know what to do. He took of back into the jungle of the island and went deep into it heading for the master's home.

The sun was high overhead, Ariane assumed it was some time around noon. She still hadn't found any other survivors, she doubted that she would. For miles there were scattered bits and pieces of the ship, but no sign of anyone live or dead yet. She glanced over at the waves lapping at the sand, in any other situation this island would be beautiful. She saw something far ahead it looked like someone lying down to take a nap. She immediantly picked up her pace hoping it would be her fiancee. As she got closer she recognized the clothing, she had given that shirt to Jacob as a birthday present. As she got closer she noticed he wasn't moving, when she finally reached his side she knelt down next to him. His face was deathly pale, "Jacob?" There was no response, "Oh God, I'm so sorry." Tears were streaming down her cheeks, "You should have stayed home." She began to sob violently shaking his motionless body. "Please let me wake up and realize this all a terrible nightmare." However Ariane knew that wouldn't happen, that shirt would be the last birthday present she would ever give Jacob. She unlatched the violin case as she was still sobbing uncontroably, she then played Jacob's favorite piece. She hit a few raw notes due to her sobs, but eventually finished the song. She put her violin away leaving the case next to Jacob's body. Deciding he deserved a proper burial, she found a plank of wood from the wreckage and began to dig Jacob a sandy grave.

Avitar: little_bree99 Character: Layian Age: 110 Mystical Creature: Fairy Appearance:  Layian was restoring a plant back to life when she heard a beautiful sound come from the beach. She hurried to restore the plant back to life when she heard the sound have a raw note. Finishing her work, she turned and flew up and headed towards the sound. Her wings began to beat faster as the song came to the end. She continued in the direction that the sound came from. Soon realizing that she was getting closer to the edge of the trees. She had never been this far from her home. Then as she looked out on the sand, she seen a creature digging into the sand. The creature looked like her but bigger without wings. As she watched the creature she realized that a ship had recked that was why all the peices of wood were laying on the beach scattered. Then realized that the creature was a human and looked like she needed help. It was her job to help so she flew over to the girl and bobbed her head as she smiled and spoke, "Hi, human, Can I help you?"

Ariane sniffled when she heard a voice asking if she needed help, looking up from the hole she was digging she saw a small winged girl. "Am i halucinating?" She blinked her eyes a couple times. "This can't be real," She almost began sobbing again but instead she blinked back her tears. "If you're real then I could use a little help digging this hole," She pointed to Jacob's lifeless body. "I'm digging a grave for my fiancee."

Yukia continued to lay next to her dead mother and cry. She felt so helpless. She wasn't sure what she needed to do. The tears rolling down her face didn't help anything. She lay there next to her mother wishing and hoping that she could come back to life. Knowing deep down that wasn't ever going to happen.
With her eyes still swollen she sat up and knew she needed to lay the bodies to rest. She took her time gathering all the bodies in a pile. She realized that there were to many for her to bury. She decided that she needed to burn them. It would be alot easier on her. She knew that one of the bodies had to have a lighter. After looking in pockets, and feeling completely weird about it she had found one. The she gathered some dry wood on the shore and started a fire. The smoke rose high into the sky as the smell of burniing flesh filled her nostrals. She had hope that maybe someone would see the smoke and make their way to her. She sat down and waited while she said a grace over the bodies that were burning.

Layian flew around her, "No I'm real and I would be glad to help you. Seems like you are having a hard time letting him go. But in time you will be okay with his leaving his body to go into the heavens with all the others." She flew over and grabbed a peice of wood that she could use as a shovel to help dig the hole for the man.

Garmut's snout cringed at the smell of the smoke. He hadn't been very far from the girl when he looked back and seen the smoke rise into the sky. He stepped up his speed as he was but only a few miles from the master's home. When he arrived at the master's home he seen him standing outside. The master was an old human wizard, tall with dark gray hair that flowed down to the middle of his back. "Master, I seen a young human girl on the shore, crying. Looked like a ship had recked on the rocks off the shore. I didn't see anymore alive with her, but there may still be more." He bowed his head in respect and waited for the master to let him know what he and the other residents of the island know what to do. "My freind, go and help the young girl. Also look for any other survivors on the island. I will put out word for everyone to know that we will have new residents on the island." His warm and rusty voice continued as he looked into the sky, "It lookes like she is laying the bodies to rest for them to carry on to the next life. Go my friend and help her." He raised his hand and dismissed Garmut.
Bowing agian in respect to the master, he turned and headed back to the shore of the island to help the young girl. His nose still stung with the stinch of the bodies burning as he ran back.

Ariane didn't know whether to believe the small fairy girl was real or not. After the hole had been dug out she rolled Jacob's body over in to it, and began to cover him with sand while tears streamed down her cheeks. When the body was covered by sand she turned to the fairy, "Thank you for your help, and your kind words. It will be a long time before I get over him." She stuck the piece of wood she'd been digging with at the head of the grave so she would remember where Jacob was buried. That was when she smelled the smoke, she looked up at the sky and saw a trial of dark smoke comming from quite a way down the beach. "It looks like I might not be the only survivor after all." She pointed at the smoke, and began walking toward it's origin.

Yukia sat down and started crying. It was hard letting for her to let her mother go. Her mom had always been there for everything, and now she was on an island in the middle of nowhere and had nobody else. The tears continued to role down her face as she stared at the fire of what use to be her mother and the others. She was not sure of what to do next so she stayed sitting and watched the fire blaze on and on.

Layian flew over the body and said words that would help the man go to the heavens. Then she looked over and seen Ariane staring up into the sky at the gray clouds of smoke. "Oh my, looks like there must be someone else. Please lets go and make sure they are okay." She flew next to Ariane and they headed into the direction of the smoke. She had stepped up the speed of her flying as she noticed Ariane did with her walking.

Yukia's eyes were very swollen when she looked out on the beach. A few miles away she could see someone moving towards her direction, and it looked like a small bird flying with the person. She took a deep breath and rubbed her eyes. She didn't think there was going to be anyone else here alive. Now she could see that someone was moving towards her. Her heart began to race as she stood up and started to wave.
