ODST:
Alright, is there anyone else but me anxious for the release of this game? This game looks to be a difficult change in the Halo series since you no longer play as a Spartan. In this installment in the Halo series you play as an ODST member, O.rbital D.rop S.hock T.rooper, they are not nearly as strong, agile, or shielded as the Spartans so it should be more difficult to stay alive. This game is scheduled to release 9/22/09.
Reach:
I don't know much about this game, but when you buy ODST you receive an invitation to join Reach's multiplayer beta. The trailers released of this game only show the planet Reach and an audio track that probably takes place on the planet. Another thing I know about this is that it's based of the Halo book Reach. Since I didn't read that book I don't know much about it, but after reading around online it turns out the game takes place just before the events of Halo 1. It's scheduled to release in Q4 2010 so it's a ways off.

Im not to psyched about halo ODST but i cant wait for Reach just the trailer leaves u thinking of how great the game is going to be

I only read a little about Reach, but seeing that the game is based on the Fall of Reach, I think the character(s possibly) that you play as will end up dead in the end.
One other thing, how do you suppose they'll be able to tie it into the series since in Halo Combat Evolved Reach was never mentioned?

One other thing, how do you suppose they'll be able to tie it into the series since in Halo Combat Evolved Reach was never mentioned? thats a good question maybe in halo combat evolved reach was kept as a secret catastrophy thats going to happen ?

Actually, if memory serves me well, by the time Master Chief was awakened the other spartans already died at the Fall of Reach. I'm not totally sure on that though, I just remembered reading it somewhere.

Actually Halo ODST looks like it will kick @$$ because its gonna be harder and it could be another part of the series cause if u look closer in the trailer u can see new brutes in it

cant way for both odst has the new multiplayer fire fight its just like gears of war 2 horde but u can use the skulls u find in halo 3 story 2 make it harder its gonna be awsome but reach i dont understand and its preview at E3 09 was very short but ill bet well learn more at E3 10

yeah im totally psyched about ODST's firefight but I dide't know you could use the skulls you found that just makes ODST even better. Bungie seems to enjoy the suffering of thier fans it seems because they're keeping Reach on the down low. I've been begging my friend for Reach info cause his uncle works for Bungie but he swore not to tell anyone. xp

Are you sure because during Reach Master Chief was either in hibernation, note: Halo 1, or still in training? I know it's one of the two because Reach is the story of how all of the spartans were killed.
