History:A girl that was housed in the temple with Sakura and acted somewhat like her guardian. She played a fairly large role in Sakura's life as she was the person Sakura had previously been in love with and was almost like her family. Maru has the ability to stop or manipulate time, and is treated like a monster, being kicked around and having stones thrown at her constantly. The last time she is seen by Sakura is heading for the village festival, where she is killed by the villagers as a sacrifice and is now often named as the village god because of the change in luck that the village experienced after her death. She remained by Sakura's side in the form of a ghost for many years and quite often kept her from being killed, eventually aiding in her escape, but not without being forever banished to Hell and leaving Sakura stuck with a curse.
Personality:Shy and happy, even though she was constantly tortured her spirit remains forever unbroken. Hopelessly devoted to Sakura and almost seems to idolise her.
