Description:
Blood: pure blood
Wand: 13 in., Blackthirn, phoenix tail feather
History: Max was know as the "Feminine Paradise" when he went to school.Well that was after he hit puberty.He grew into a pretty good looking man and even though he was hated on for being so "good" with the ladies he wasn't stupid.Max excelled in Potions and always have excelled.His talents come second to the Potions Master before him.Even though he was good though didn't mean he put it to good use.He always got into trouble in school and at home.
Max was born to a wealth family.A high family of purebloods.Of course being the eldest of three children he had much weight on his shoulders.He was expected to also follow in the step foots of his father and become a rebel leader against the government.Of course due to his natural disobedient side he didn't follow his father and was disowned from the family at the age of seventeen when he left Hogwarts.
Max lived and traveled the wizardry community.He would stay in places from short periods of time and make his money by selling potions.While he was in one of his settlements though he got his letter from Hogwarts.He was ecstatic because that was his glory years and he's excited to return to them once again.
Personality:Max is very flirtatious.Having been only out of Hogwarts for six years, it's a mystery as to how that side still stays with him.He won't try to start anything with the students but it'll slip if it wants to.Even if it's very flirtatious he is also serious about his work.He may seem cool in class but he hates slackers and will get mean if he has to.He's been a ladies man since puberty and he knows it.

Other: Really glad he's the new potions master even if it's temporary.

This will be the rules of my classroom, you will be wise to read and memorize the rules that I have laid out for you, for they may be on quizzes or tests for extra credit.
Attitude:
You will be expected to be on your best behavior.I will tolerate no slacking off or goofing off.I will be cracking down on the rules this year a little more.I expect that you give me the respect that I will give you.If you choose to treat me or other students with disrespect you will be punished according to my system.It seems like this year will need to be cracked down on a little mroe than last year.Just remember if you come into this class and have the right attitude and do what you are expected to do then you will have absolutely no problem in my class this year.I bid you good luck with this and the rest of your studies this year.
Homework/Quiz/Tests:
Homework will be given out according to your class or you as an individual.If I suspect that you or the class have not paid attention and has not learned a thing from what I was teaching you will be given homework.The homework grade will also vary on what I think the lesson difficulty is.But as long as you are participating well expect little homework.
Quizzes will vary also.Depending on the lesson plan.But I do try to guarantee a quiz at the end of every week.I also guarantee that a test will be given at the end of the year, well exam to be exact on everything you've learned.This is exam now don't take it too lightly but still do your best.
I also expect no cheating on any of these, cheaters will be an automatic 4.(Check Detention System.)
Tutor:
I have set up times for everyday that you will be able to come in and ask me any questions about a lesson.There are times though that I will ask for you to schedule a tutor for that time for I may have something to do for that period.And please do not schedule a time becuase you want to get out of a class, I will find out.
Absences and Tardies:
If you are absent for my class then please at sometime during your day, come by my office and drop off a note from what happened.If you are absent and I get no note you will be refered to your head of house who will decide what to do.
For tardies, I expect everyone in here on time.If you are late it will be a 1.Two times will be a 2.Three times a 3 and anymore a 4.Please look at my detention system for the corresponding numbers.
Detention System:
I will determine your fate according to my system.
1.A nights worth of detention (come straight after you eat your dinner) and 5 point deduction
2.A weeks worth of detention (come straight after your dinner) and 10 point deduction
3.Two weeks detention, a note to your head of House, and 20 points deduction
4.A month of detention, note to your head of house, note to Headmaster, and 500 points deduction.

This is the classes that I offer to the students.Please only join the classes that your year corresponds to.I will not let anyone into more advanced classes.
Potions Level I:This is for the first years.They will be taught the basics of potions.Term, easy ingredients, and a simple potion here and there.
Potions Level II:This is a class for the second years.They will look at a little more advanced stuff.The instructions and ingredients will be harder but only slightly.
Potions Level III:This is a class for the third years.They will look at potions with a little more power.But just barely able to effect a dog or medium sized animal.
Potions Level IV:This is a class for the fourth years.They will look at potions that will effect humans.No potions that will harm anyone though.They will also learn beginner O.W.L. level potions mear the end of the year.
Potions Level V:This is a class for the fifth years.They will look on potions that will help them with their O.W.Ls this year.
Advanced Potions:A class for the sixth and seventh years.This is for all the advanced people that have finished all the courses.They will focus on N.E.W.T level potions.

I will need a PM from everyone that wants to join my class.Label the PM 'Application for Potions.'That PM must contain the following:
In a paragraph form please tell me your name, house, and year.I would also like to know the class you are applying for with the level of that class and a reason as to why you would like to join.I don't want a reason like "Because it's required" or "because I'm bored" I want a well thought out reason.
If you are denied into my class it means there is something wrong with your form.Please fix it and resend it in to me in a clean PM.

Max strolled into his classroom.None of the students were there yet.His serious side was coming out as he got his stuff ready, putting what he needed on his desk and then he sat down as he waited for the rest of his class to arrive.

Bella briskly walked into Potions, noticing that no one was in class yet. That was odd...she had even went to the bathroom before she had come to class. Smiling, she greeted Professor Hart. "Good morning Professor. Did you have a good summer?" She asked, hoping to make casual conversation as she took a seat in the front, setting her backpack on her lap before she pulled out her supplies for potions, her book, her wand, parchment, a quill, and ink and setting them on her desk before she set her backpack down underneath her chair, getting ready for class to start.

Bella smiled at the Professor, glad that he was happy. "Mine was fine as well. I'm glad to hear you had a good holiday. Hopefully James won't be late so you'll have a good first period as well." She joked as she opened her book. She couldn't wait to get started.

Max nodded."I hope so too, or it'll be five points from Gryffindor,"Max smiled.It may have sounded like a joke about the points but he was serious about it.If gryffindor expected to be on time, James would get into his class and be ready by the time that the second bell rings.

Bella nodded. "He'll be the main reason Gryffindor loses points." She said, shaking her head. "He is prone to being late. I had to leave him to use the restroom this morning, so that's why he didn't walk in with me..I really hope he's not late..." She said before she sighed.

James ran into the classroom and skidded to a halt. "Sorry I'm late professor, I got caught up with Emily for a moment and then I lost Bella. I shouldn't have looked for her but we're usually together so I did. Emily also gave me a note." He handed a folded piece of parchment with Emily's neat cursive writing on it to the professor as he slid into the seat next to Bella and mouthed 'where did you go?' He then smiled smuggly at her and nodded towards the note as if to say see I can be responsible.James' Note Professor Hart, if James is tardy please let it slide this once. I know I'm running late myself and I just needed a few words with him before he went off destroying the school. Hope your first day is good. Deputy Headmistress Emily Anne Wixom

Max took the note and watched James take his seat before he looked over the note.Of course it'd be from the sister,Max thought so he just put it in his folder and stood up."Well class, welcome to your second year of Potions.My name is Professor Hart and I will be called by nothing else.If you have an educated question?I have an educated answer.If you by any chance have dumb question, I have a detention for you,Max smiled at them.He loved to fool around with the kids, even though he's really strict.It was a way to keep them entertained and hopefully focused.
