*Send Naoe_88 a PM with a copy of your finished profile for approval BEFORE posting it in the RP Profile Thread.
the profile should include:
character name: first and last (last optional) race: (zeltros, human etc.) affiliation: sith, jedi, dark jedi, bounty hunter planet of origin: tatooine, zeltron, corthos etc style and saver color: (niman and purple or vapad and gold etc.) personality and appearance: either describe it, find a picture or both
A Few Simple Rules for the RP
1. * Read all relative post so as not to throw anyone for a loop, you'll have to edit if your own post if you don't. 2. *NO GODMODDING/AUTO HITS or PUPPETING ( ranks of the members fighting will determine alot of the hit and miss during the rp, see example down below. ) 3. *What the captains or crew say goes and that's final! 4. *No posting before you are approved. 5. *Romance is allowed.(Keep within regulations though) 6. *No Killing unless you have it aproved. 7. *Have fun.

to clarify what i meant by "Rank determining hits" i've set up this example using a few different ranked guild members as players, but first a few definitions:
1. Auto Hitting: For those that don't know, autohitting is when YOU post your opponents reaction to your attacks instead of letting them determine the outcome. This can be quiet annoying so please refrain from doing this. Keep in mind, some auto hitting is allowed but nothing too extensive.
2. God Moding: it's pretty self explanitory, instead of going through the motions like everyone else, your character will just instantly be better than everyone in less time.
An example: There's been a viral outbreak and the only way to cure it is with a special plant, everyone else takes off in search of said plant but your character just happens to find it under the first rock they turn all within a span of 5 mins. ( Doesn't make for much of a storyline now does it? ;P )
it's the same with in battle, like automatically healing or what not. please avoid doing this since really, who can beat a god? xD
3.Puppeting: This is the control of anothers character without their permission. While some puppeting is allowed ( walking arm in arm is a good example since when one person walks the other has to follow obviously...) but any major puppeting such as determining anothers attacks or reactions to an event are not allowed unless you have permission from that person. ( Foreward the PM with both the players stating this is alright to a crew member and there won't be any problems)

Here are the examples to determine how well your character will do in battle against someone of a different or similar rank.
Note: Just like in real life, the one with the most experience wil have a better shot at dodging or hitting since they've had more practice at it. A street punk with self taught fighting skills really has no chance against a well disciplined kung fu master now does he? ;P
Ranks, Hits, Fights and HP
Here is the run down:
1. Grandmaster/Sith Lord: can have up to 6 attacks or dodges ( 6 hits and or dodges all together) before accepting one hit from an opponent. (6:1 ratio) and have a starting Hit Point (HP) value of 100 points
2. Masters: Can have up to 5 hits or dodges before accepting a blow from their opponent ( 5:1 ratio) HP is 75 points
3. Knights: Can have up to 4 hits or dodges before accepting 1 hit from an opponent (4:1 ratio) HP is 50
4. Padawans: Can have 3 attack or dodge before accepting a hit from an opponent (3:1 ratio ) HP is 25
5. Bounty Hunters/Assasins/etc. : follow the rank of Knight, but no force powers!
6. Equal Ranks: this is the easiest to follow since it's a 2:2 ratio, meaning both opponents can land 2 attacks or dodges before accepting 2 hits.
7. The amount of damage your attack does is based off a single roll of a d20 (20 sided dice) that you must roll whenever you are going to make a counter or straight foreward attack. If you don't remember to do it the first time, you have to delete and repost again with the dice count (just copy and paste so you don't have to write all over again)
8. Since no one can die unless it has been approved, once all HP is gone from a single player, the "winner" can attempt to make a "fatal blow". This will basically determine the appearance of the opponent for the rest of the time they are in the RP. The following is a list of what the 3 major groups can exclusivly do when they win a battle:
a sith can choose to cut the mark of the sith into a jedis skin with the jedi's own lightsaver (adding insult to injury essentially)
a jedi can steal the lightsaver from their opponent and either keep it or destroy it (destroyed for sith, stolen from dark jedi) and can modify it to their own specifications if they chose
a dark jedi can do either one (but only one per battle and the mark is their own, not the sith)
anyone else who is not a member of the 3 major factions must submit their final blow for approval unless it is a generic finishing blow.
All factions can essentially do "generic finishing blows" which anything to alter their opponents appearance (so long as it's not graphically explained or overtly grotesque like castration or scalping or something like that.) Dismemberment of arms, hand, legs, fingers etc is permited but as before cannot be explained in detail.
As you can see, the higher your rank the more damage you can do to your opponent before they can land a hit.
Note: every individual player has the choice of which hits they will or will not take, but once your /counter attacks/dodges have been used up, the player will have no choice but to take the next hit, especially if their opponent is a higher rank with more hits/dodges than they. And since there is NO KILLING! it's up to the player to determine how the damage will affect them based on the action they accepted and the damage rolled by your opponent.
RP collaboration is highly recommended when people do combat so as not to drag on and have the combat come to a good end that both will agree upon based on the outcome of the battle. and this way, the loser will essentially be able to think ahead for their next part in the RP once the fight is over to incorporate the new changes or actions needed to be taken ( going to the medical ward, traveling to make a new lightsaver etc)

Naoe steps foreward and ignites her twin sabers, taking a Niman stance before giving the Dark Lord a half smile. " You may be a higher rank Sparky, but I'm no push over." she said with a wink.
Taking the initiative, Naoe makes a run foreward but stops in mid stride and sends a powerful force push towards Sparky. " Fooled ya didn't I? " she said with a light laugh.
at this point, sparky can choose to either accept my attack and let it hit him for the number of damage i rolled or dodge/counter attack. since i didn't roll the first time, lets just say on a scale of 1-20 it did an 8 since it was done so light heartedly. also i must remember to reduce my ratio since i did an attack. my new ratio is now 4:1 instead of 5:1

Sith Lord (6:1) New Ratio (NR) 3:1 HP: 100/100 "Ha! we'll see about that." Darth Ramodian used his own force push to block that attack and force ran strait up to Naoe about to swing.
since sparky is a sith lord he has a total of 100 hit points that he must keep track of. since he didn't accept my force push for 8 pts, he didn't lose any HP but if he had, it'd be brought down to 92/100.
sparky must also keep track of his ratio, since he didn't accept my attack and dodged instead his ratio is reduced. originally 6:1 ( for grandmaster/sith lord) his new ratio is 4:1 (2 more attacks or dodges before accepting 1 hit and all the points it's worth based on the roll of a d20)
why 4 you ask? well lets keep count, sparky had ramodian dodge my attack (5:1 left) then attacked me in his next action (4:1 now)

With the power of Force Speed, Naoe easily dodged the attack, making her way behind Ramodian and sweeping her leg under his, knocking him into the air. She poised ready to bring her saber down for a strike. "I thought you were a Sith Lord, Ramodian?!"
(as you can see i just used 3 of my 4 remaining attack/dodges just now. By dodging Ramodians attack, knocking ramodians feet from under him and preparing to do another attack by saying i was going to strike from above, my new ratio is now 1:1 meaning i can only attack or dodge one more time before having to accept damage from sparky)

Ramodian moved so fast it was as if he dematerialized and rematerealized right behind Naoe. "I'm only warming up." he laughed as he ingnited his sabor and quickly swung it down, then manuevering to try and stab her through the back.

Dark jedi Master (5:1) NR: 0:1 HP:60/75 Surprised by his sudden appearance behind her, Naoe tried to quickly use Force Barrier to deflect the impact of both Ramodian's attacks. she saved herself from his first but couldn't match his speed in defelcting from behind completly. His saber scorched her side, the smell of her burnt clothes and flesh made her a bit nauseated.
"OW!! What the Fudge Ramodian? I thought this was a sparing match?!" she said as she clutched her side in pain.
(( why did i get hit?...lets keep count shall we? I've: attempted force push (1 attack/dodge), legged sweeped him (2 attack/dodge)...Avoided his swing (3 attack/dodges), attempted my own swing (4 attack/dodge) and used Force Barrier(5 attack/dodge)...so since as a master i can only avoid or attempt hits in intervals of 5, i used up all my chances and had to take damage as a result.
again the dice was forgotten to be rolled by us the first time but lets say it did 15 pts of damage thus my HP was reduced to 60/75))

as you can see, it takes some concentration but in the end, i think this will make things much more fun. ( Since no rank is completly invincible to any of the other ranks, all you might need is just one lucky shot xD )
