As you come upon the home where Ramiro's live, you'll see a house of moderate sizing. It is a smaller two story, with two large bedrooms upstairs and a kitchen, sitting room, dining room, family room, office, and small library downstairs. A nice oak porch wraps around the entire house, and the lawn is so immaculate that people are extremely wary about stepping in the grass.

Nathaniel sat in one of the comfy couches that helped decorate the sitting room downstairs. He had just finished breakfast, and had intentions to go find Angel later, seeing as he had also passed his apparition test with flying colors. It had been a good summer after they had gotten out of Hogwarts, though it still didn't feel like he and Angel had finally graduated. Sighing, he leaned back, stretching out his back before returning into his previous posture, pondering what else he could do.

With a pop Angel appeared in front of the Ramiro's residence. Before she could take a step into the elegant garden, Angel used her wand to wipe herself up a bit before going to the front door. If Nathaniel saw that she had just been beaten up, then he would end up being worried. And she didn't want that. All she wanted was comfort from the one guy that she cared so much for. As she summoned a mirror with her wand, she checked her reflection. Luckily, the slap across the face hadn't left a mark to see. But her side was killing her. It was almost like her ribs had been broken. She had to hide the pain for now. With a sigh, she collected her hair into a messy ponytail and then walked over to the front door. Angel was becoming nervous. This was the first time she had come over to Nathaniel's house. So this was the first time that she would meet his parents. Ding dong Surprisingly, the door opened a second later. A man that looked a lot like Nathaniel stood in front of her with a bright smile on his face. "You must be Angel," was the first thing this man said. Angel blushed and nodded. "Um, is he home?" she stuttered, fumbling with the hem of her wife beater.

Nathaniel heard the doorbell ring and his eyebrows furrowed. Who would be ringing their doorbelll? They never had visitors. Then his moment of stupidity left and it dawned on him. He scrambled to his feet and ran out of the sitting room in time to year Angel ask for him and as soon as he saw her he hugged her tightly, bringing her to him as he gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Angel!" He cheered as he spun her in a quick circle. "I'm so glad to see you." He said as he set her back onto her feet again.

The hug brought a major shot of pain to her sides. However enjoyable the embrace was, it was still too tight and it made her sides protest in pain. Angel soon let out a cry of pain, tears filling her eyes. Suddenly, the pressure on her sides was decreasing and her vision was growing clearly again. Looking up at Nathaniel, she smiled brightly. "I'm so glad to see you too," she said softly, wrapping her arms around his strong shoulders, ignoring the pain she felt as she lifted up her arms. "So, you've been talking about me?" she jested, raising an eyebrow to him.

As soon as Nathaniel felt Angel tense, he knew that something was wrong. Her cry of pain soon confirmed that fact and as soon as he set her down, he looked down at her worriedly. "Of course I have. How could I not tell my parents about the most wonderful, loving person that has come into my life?" He asked, his eyes showing his worry as he looked down at her. "Dad, we'll be heading up to my room!" He said, trying to sound nonchalant as he took Angel by the hand. "It's this way. Follow me!" He said, though his voice was more strained than usual, as if he was holding back.

Angel feared that this would happen. She never wanted Nathaniel to be worried over her. In fact she didn't like it when people worried about her. But there was nothing she could do. Intertwining her fingers through his, Angel followed behind Nathaniel. "It was nice meeting you," she said to his father. At that moment, someone from the kitchen came out and looked at Angel with a sort of curious look on her face. It had to be Nathaniel's mother. She was so beautiful. "Good morning," Angel said in a weak voice before the woman disappeared with Nathaniel's father. Angel followed Nathaniel silently to his room now, biting her lower lip.

As soon as Angel stepped into Nathaniel's room he shut the door and locked it before he gently placed his hand on the small of her back, leading her to his bed so that she could sit down. His room was pretty plain. He had the typical bedroom set with a dresser, desk, chair, bed, and nightstand that were all in cherry oak. His walls were painted red to bring out the red of the wood. However, none of that mattered now. What mattered was what happened to Angel, and that was where his attention was focused now. "Angel, what happened?" He asked as he looked at her, his eyes showing his concern.

Angel followed obediently to Nathaniel's movements. When she felt his hand on her back, she began to walk towards the bed that looked so welcoming. A blush crept onto her lips as her eyes wandered around the room. She just couldn't believe that she was in Nathaniel's room. It was so comforting. When she sat on the bed, her eyes went over to Nathaniel's. But she blushed and looked away. His gaze made her heart break. Just what she had been trying to keep from. "Nothing, Nate. I'm fine," she said, hoping that it was convincing enough. Her hand however crept to her side. With one light touch the pain erupted again, causing her to wince.

Nathaniel didn't believe her when she said that nothing was wrong, and it just hurt him because he didn't know why she would want to keep anything from him. Then he saw her wince, and he moved to her side. Gently taking her hand, he moved it to her knee before he placed his hands on the hem of her shirt. "May I?" He whispered. He wanted to know what was wrong, nothing more.

At a loss for words, Angel kept her eyes glued on the floor and nodded at his question. She knew that what he was about to do was nothing that big. That he was just curious as to what was wrong with her. But it was when his hand made contact with hers again that took her off guard. It made her think about what had happened earlier, to the reason why she must be bruised up at her sides. Those hands. she thought, closing her eyes to try and forget all about them. She found herself scared again, almost feeling the urge to inch away from Nathaniel.

Nathaniel saw Angel's discomfort, but he lifted her shirt gently anyway. In order to help her, he had to figure out what had happened. However, he hated the fact that it was bothering her. As the harsh bruise was revealed to his eyes he gasped before pulling her shirt down gently. He then quickly wrapped his arms around her shoulders, pulling her to him as he rested his head against hers. "Angel, are you ok? What happened?" He asked, looking her in the eyes.

This was all she wanted. To be in Nathaniel's comforting embrace and never get herself out of it. But the questions finally arose, causing her moment of comfort to go away almost as quickly as it had come. She wrapped her own arms around his waist, pulling him closer. His eyes, those wonderful eyes, were so difficult to gaze into as guilt flooded through her body. How can she think to tell the guy of her dreams the horrible incident that had happened to her? It would not only make him worry, but furious as well. All she wanted was Nathaniel to be a comfort to her. All she wanted was him to make her forget where those filthy hands had been. All she wanted was Nathaniel and Nathaniel only. When she finally looked up at him, Angel pulled away from his hold and slowly laid back on his bed, resting her head on his pillow. "Please, lie next to me. Just hold me," she begged, her eyes filled with tears. The hands. She couldn't shake off the feelings of those hands. She brought her arms around her stomach, curling up into a ball even as pain shot up her sides.

"Oh sweetheart..." Nathaniel murmured. How could he have thought that figuring out what had happened would be more important then comforting his love? He quickly laid down next to her and brought her into his embrace, whispering sweet, calming words into her ear as he tried to soothe away what had happened to her. He wished that he could ease away her pain quickly, but he knew that it would take time.

Nathaniel's warm embrace made her slow tears fall into full sobs. It was so painful. Not only from her sides but her heart. Lying next to her love now, she felt so dirty. They had touched her in places that were saved for someone special. Saved for him. But those guys had brought their filthy hands there. How could she stand to be around Nathaniel now when she felt so dirty? Totally careless of the pain in her sides, Angel turned onto her other side so that she was sobbing into his shirt. She held him close around the waist, keeping her eyes closed while she tried to forget. "Hands...Touching...Places...Saved...You...Dirty...Pain..." Her sobs came out harder now.
