Chimchar vs. Koffing

"hmm... well this seems like a good place to start our training!" Lee said looking down at his pokemon. "You ready?" he asked. Chimchar jumped forward its flame burning brightly as it focused on its opponent.

The Koffing seemed calm as it floated there stairing at the two newcomers. Lee took opportunity of this to make the first move.

"Chimchar! use Leer!" Chimchar's eyes began to glow brightly as the Koffings defenses began to lower.
Koffing's passive state changed at this. It inhaled and released a poison gas from its body. Lee quickly covered his face to stop the gas from reaching his mouth and nose, but chimchar was not as quick and inhaled some of the smoke. It let out a cough but stood its ground.

"Quick, use Scratch!" Chimchar might not have great reaction time right now but through out its stay with Lee it trained its body, giving it decent amounts of strength. Chimchar jumped up and brought its claws down hard on the Koffing disorientating it for a moment. "Quick use Leer!" again, chimchar's eyes began to glow as the koffing's defense began to lower.

This time the Koffing charged forward towards chimchar slamming into it and knocking it back a foot or so. "Chimchar! Scratch!" Chimchar jumped up and again brought down its claws dealing some damage and knocking the koffing into the ground, in turn knocking it out.

Chimchar was breathing heavily, it was its very first real battle and its excitement could not be hidden.


Winner: Chimchar!

Chimchar vs. Sentret

As Lee and chimchar were running, they came across a wild sentret. "Alright! Finally! Chimchar lets get things going!!!! use Scratch!!!"

Chimchar leaped forward bringing his right claw down on the sentret slamming it against the tree behind it. It let out a loud cry of pain and then jumped up. It began growling at Chimchar lowering its attack.

I cant let chimchars attack get lowered too much! Lee moved forward and called out to chimchar to use another scratch.

Chimchar jumped up towards one of the branches and then pushed itself off of the branch down towards the sentret, digging its claws deep into its back. The speed from jumping from the tree gave chimchar's attack just enough power to knock out the Sentret.

"Good work buddy! lets go back into town and get some rest." With that, the two went back into town and headed to the pokemon center.

Chimchar vs. Nosepass!

"I'll take you on, and win!" A boy who appeared beside Lee said.

Lee looked down at his partner who seemed to have healed enough to fight again. "Very well, we shall see i guess"

"Chimchar you are faster then that nosepass, take advantage of that! Scratch!" Chimchar charged forward landing a scratch on the side of the nosepass.

"Show them our power! Nosepass use tackle!" The nosepass charged towards chimchar but was easily dodged.

"Goodwork chimchar! Keep using scratch!" Chimchar scratched the nosepass then jumped back against a wall and launched itself forward landing another scratch attack.

Nosepass was pretty injured now but could still fight. "
grrrrr! Use tackle nosepass!" Again nosepass charged forward but again, chimchar dodged.

"Chimchar! lets finish this!!! Scratch!" Chimchar focuses its strength into its right arm and brings its claw down, knocking the Nosepass out.

"That was a good battle, keep training!"

Chimchar vs. Snubble & Croagunk



lee sighed. He was hoping to find some wild pokemon but he keeps running into trainers. Oh well, he wouldn't pass up a chance for a battle either way! "Well, you want trouble, you got it!"

The large man threw down a pokeball and revealed a Snubble. It looked like the man had two pokemon with him so lee needed every advantage he could get, including attacking first.

"Chimchar use Scratch!" Chimchar launched forward bringing its claws down on the snubble causing significant damage.

The man seemed to want to inflict as much pain as possible as well. "Snubble! use thunderfang!!" Snubble bit down on chimchar's arm as electricity began dancing around its teeth. Chimchar let out a scream but took advantage of this opportunity and let out two decent scratches. Although due to the angle it had to attack from, the attacks weren't full power but they were enough to knock the snubble out.

"Why you! this isnt the end! Croagunk kick this guys butt!" He threw down another pokeball releasing a Croagunk. This time the man made sure he would get the first attack. "use astonish!!" The croagunk shot forward swinging its glowing fist straight into the side of Chimchar. The attack hurt but it didn't do any serious damage.

"Chimchar use leer!" Chimchar's eyes began to glow as the croagunks defense began to fall.

"Astonish again!" The croagunk again charged towards chimchar but this time chimchar jumped into the air dodging the attack, its eyes still glowing. its defenses were very low by this point.

"chimchar finish it!" Chimchar as it was coming back down from its jump brought its claw down knocking the Croagunk out.

"Perhaps next time you should better asses your opponent."

Chimchar vs. Eevee




Lee looked down at chimchar and without saying a word it jumped into action. It jumped into the air and to Lee's surprise began shooting embers towards the Eevee. Eevee was caught off guard and took a decent amount of damage from the attack.

The pokemon was rather bold for its species. It charged forward and whiped its tail around at chimchar lowering its defense.

"Chimchar use ember again!" Again the monkey pokemon shot embers from its mouth hitting the eevee, and causing quite a bit of pain.

Eevee then charged forward and tackled chimchar knocking the wind out of the pokemon.

After a moment of recovering Chimchar was ready to fight again. "chimchar Use scratch! lets catch it!" Chimchar jumped into the air with the sun behind it making it hard for the eevee to know where the monkey pokemon was. It came down slamming its claws on the eevee's head slamming it to the ground.

eevee stood up wabbling. It wouldnt be able to fight much longer. Now was the time. Lee pulled out a pokeball and threw it straight at the Injured Eeevee.

Chimchar vs. Hoothoot





As they were traveling they came across a wild hoothoot sitting in a tree. They were going to just leave it be, but when it saw them, it immediatly flew out of the tree and landed on the path.

"Fine Chimchar lets make a path! use ember!" Chimchar inhaled and shot a flurry off embers towards the hoothoot, dealing decent damage and making the hoothoot even more angry.

The Hoothoot Flew forward slamming its body into Chimchar with a tackle attack. The attack didn't do much damage, this pokemon was alot weaker then Chimchar.

"One more ember should do the job!" Chimchar shot a flurry of embers point blank at the hoothoot knocking it out.

Lee picked the pokemon up and leaned it up against the tree it was originally in. Lee then continued on his way.

Lee vs. Rich Kid Nicholas







the rich kid began making fun of lee for not having as much money, but that didn't really bother Lee. having excess money never was important for him. But none the less, he wanted to teach this kid a lesson. "You ready chimchar?"


"Char!" it exclamed mad that someone was making fun of his trainer.

the kid threw down a pokeball letting out a shieldon. But Lee wasn't about to let it have the first attack. The first move of the fighter will set how the opponent looked at the fighter, and Lee was going to make quite the impression.

"Ember!" Chimchar jumped back and shot out a flurry of embers hitting the shieldon directly.

Shieldon charged forward attempting to tackle chimchar but chimchar jumped up and landed on the shieldons back.

"Great job chimchar! hang on and use ember!" From point blank chimchar inhaled and shot out a fiery rain of embers behind the shieldons armored head.

Shieldon began thrashing about trying to shake the monkey pokemon off but to no result. Chimchar hung on.

"Now use scratch!" Chimchar released its grip with one hand and began scratching the shieldons back causing alot of damage. After a few moments of this, shieldon finally fell to the ground.


"Why...why you....you PEASANT!!!!" He returned the shieldon and threw down a pokeball revealing a tangela.

Tangela was able to make the first move, shooting out some vines which wrapped around Chimchar, pulled it in, and began tightening around it.

chimchar screamed in pain, its arms pinned under the vines. Suddenly a strange red aura appeared around its body, its eyes glowing brightly red. Its ability blaze had activated. Chimchar opened its mouth wide and shot a storm of embers down on the tiny grass pokemon, instantly knocking it out.

Chimchar backed up some, breathing heavy, it was exhausted.

"All the money in the world wont buy you talent, skill, or honor. Have fun with your money, but it wont bring you happiness."
