"My daughter...she's gone..." Sepherene let loose some draconic curses, stumbling down the mountainside in her human form. Cold didn't bother her, but pain racked her body. Pain of the battle, she hadn't gone back to her cave or tried to heal herself. The tattoo on her body spread and caused her to collapse in pain. "He took her, he took my daughter..." She hated him for it. The look in her eyes when she looked at him. She hated it. He'd bewitched her.

The cambion, the halfbreed demonspawn. He took her, took her heart. He'd done it, used his powers to steal her away. She knew he did it, his kind did it all the time, demons, the lot of them not to be trusted. She refused to believe that her daughter would give it to anyone but her. Sleep, she was tired. She felt cold inside and her body relaxed. Lying on the ground she closed her eyes and drifted asleep.

It was snowing, and she was walking towards a building covered in snow. It crunched beneath her feet, a familiar feeling. A glimpse of an ancestor, one of her proud ancestors walking forward. "Wait!" They disappeared, and up the stairs she went after them. She opened the door to the building, and stepped inside.

Corridors twisting, hearing a song in her head. "Sleep priestess...lie in peace..." She'd had this dream before. Many times.

"My daughter...have you seen my daughter?" Figures walking into the manor. She looked at them, tried to change into her dragon form, but she couldn't, and they wouldn't listen. "My daughter... I need to find my daughter...where is she?"

She was angry, frustrated. He'd feel pain. He needed to feel pain. "He took my daughter from me." Her hands were at her sides, shaking with anger. "Christine... my lovely daughter...her heart was supposed to be mine."

Lost...lost she was. She had been called here. Her anger and pain. The tattoo was her punishment... but for what? She'd done nothing. The cambion...and her daughter. They needed to suffer. "My daughter... give me back MY DAUGHTER!"
