Hello, I was thinking on the Psychic Powers of the Eldar, and I want to show that they are far more advanced than humans. Human Psykers can read minds and move stuff with their mind. Eldar Warlocks and Farseers can generate fire, move stuff with their minds, read minds, create psychic lightning, and see the future, but I feel like they should have more. So, I was wondering if you had any ideas of Psychic Powers the Eldar could have, or do you like the Eldar how they are?

I like the Eldar how they are now. I think if we give them any more powers they may be a little bit over-powered >.>''

It could be possible to even up the feild as well though and by meeting the eldar the eldar can teach strong human physkers some small tricks like moving things with their mind better or generating a candles worth of fire. For an idea of more powers though telekinesis could be more advanced to levitating their body if needed so they can slow fall or what not.

Well the humans have the advantage of courage and being kinda nuts. The hegemony has more Flexibility due to modding The Tau are a grab bag. the bugs Zerg. Its what bugs do. the Eldar have the mind powers. ever think of having them mess with their own minds.
Like your ghost. He could have ramped up the adrenaline in his brain to up his processing speed, his strength and damp pain. A master Psych person could maybe even bring up their perception of time without losing focus.
hope that helps.

Yeah, eventually when relations get a little bit they will teach them stuff, and likely share technology (but don't worry Valencrow, the Hegemony will likely get some stuff from the Tau or maybe Zechs will design something new....) Yeah, those are good ideas, I was also thinking about allowing them to mess with other people's minds, like a really bad migraine? or perhaps maybe make them see things that aren't there, like out of the corner of their eye and just totally freak out their enemies.

I actually was thinking of the pain thing with Syvila and Isard. If she had started torturing her she could have jus gone into this weird trance that once her body felt it was safe to come out of she would. Oh course I was going to ask you but I didn't have to because it never got to torture.

Yeah, that is fine. Eldar are masters of their own minds, and I am trying to figure out how they could be masters of other people's minds without making them too powerful

The Eldar could have more powers that overlap e.g. the ability to control other people, which could be done less effectively with telekinesis, and other stuff like that. I don't know, I'm tired and confused, so I don't know if this even makes sense.

well, not sure if it counts under astral projection, but how about a minds-eye kinda thing for accuracy boosts and spying? like Alucard has.

I don't know, I'm tired and confused, so I don't know if this even makes sense. Hmm, I keep on wanting to do mind control... but... it just seems so over powered that I think I should not... Any ideas on how to balance it? Like restrictions or something? The furthest I have gone into mind control is telepathic suggestion, to prod someone into doing something that they were already thinking about doing anyway. Big Boss Wolf well, not sure if it counts under astral projection, but how about a minds-eye kinda thing for accuracy boosts and spying? like Alucard has. I am not sure I understand... Astral projection would be good for spying, seeing into an enemy base without actually being there.

You could make it that the person using mind control has to beat the other person in a battle of willpower in order to control them, and even then they would have to keep fighting them off as they controlled the person. Is it less overpowered now?
