Background: Lu had always wanted to be a gym trainer. So when they finally accepted him as a candidate for a Pokemon, he was overjoyed. Having done a little bit of research on Pokemon, Lu decided that he would like to be a gym leader of ground types. First, however, he would need to begin his adventure to acquire ground types, and train them, so that he would be a worthy gym leader. When he went to the Professor's lab to pick a Pokemon, he was overjoyed that they had a ground type. "This is going to be easy" he thought. Little did he know what adventures lay in store for him.
