Once in Pumice town, Luhan visited the Pokemon center to heal his Pokemon and then went to the local Pokemart.

Luhan, you receive a call on your pokenav from Vance.
"Hey, I know you haven't decided to join us or anything, but my commander is desperate for Quality recruits, and I was wondering if you would like to help in our recruitment challenge. This strategy was adapted from the rocket rule books, and is known as the Nugget bridge challenge. Basically, all I am asking of you is to fight a series of trainers who are seeking the prize at the end of the challenge, Your pokemon will be healed if they faint, and it wont cost you a thing in addition our team will reward you for your contribution to our cause."

Luhan decided he'd head back to Quartzite city, seeing as there wasn't much else to do. Back to route 307 he thought.

"Ah, Pumice is a nice city...but i can't stay here too long." Luhan stayed in Pumice town just long enough to visit the Pokemon center and heal his pokemon. Then he headed for his destination, route 309...but first he'd have to cross through route 308!
