Okay, as you all know, this season has been full of surprises. Parker is like the number 2 guy on the team, next to Duncan of course. The immediate effect that Van Exel and Finley are have are extremely positive. Rasho is doing more than just standing there and taking fouls. But what one thing that I find surprising, and worrisome, is the playing of Manu.
When I first saw the haircut, I knew something was amiss. Now I know that Manu is like 2 different people during the regular season and the playoffs, but his play is bothering me some. He's not as strong to he basket as he was later in the season last year. He's somewhat sloppy with the ball, and likes to throw the ball away. He could be a lot more efficient with the ball. He's just not the strong finisher that I'm accustomed to seeing.
Like I said, he's a different player in the playoffs, he averaged 16 points in the regular season, and averaged 20 points in the playoffs. Do you think this is early season jitters, or is there something else?

I have noticed a difference in manu'a playing......do you think it has anything to do with the addition of Oberto...I don't think it is though because they played in the olympics togther....It may just be early season jitters

Playing in the World Championships hopefully helped him. Last offseason he took the entire two months off and he lost his rythm. Hopefully he has something to work off of this year.

He has some injuries(much like Duncan) and the guy won't probably return to his old self. What we need is his ability to get into the lane and get some three-pointer or Duncan to shoot an open shot.
