Kathryn walked into the post office with a smile. Since her dad worked at the school she didn't send off many things but she knew that here she could get parchment, ink, and quills. She had come here because she needed to replace Stephanie's bottle of Orange sparkle ink since she had spilt it, and also wanted to get her a bottle. In reality she was just glad that her dad had let her come. He had seemed so stressed about something that Angel had seen happening at Hogsmeade and she had gotten into such serious trouble this week she was sure he wouldn't let her go. But here she was and she couldn't help but smile as she handed the lady at the counter the two bottles of ink.

Daniel walked in behind Kathryn and smiled at his student. The girl was still timid and terrified of her class but she was getting better and seeing her in detention was helping him to get to know her at least slightly better. The girl had trembled from head to toe when she had detention the first day and he hated making her stay but it was his policy. He was glad that her studies were improving and couldn't help but be thankful that Johnathan Yelsah had decided to take the poor girl in.
