So you may have noticed a change from Previous years. This thread is just how you yourself can gain house points. This keeps the roleplay and the actual people seperate so there is not such a strain on bratty characters losing all of your hard earned points. Hopefully this will even the playing field a bit, and I wish luck to all of the students at Little Hogwarts. Congratulations to the winners of the house cup for this Year.
Hufflepuff
Congratulations Hufflepuff, you have worked hard this semester, and I was to announce that this Semesters MVP is also from your house. Your very own Hufflepuff Prefect has worked her little Hufflepuff tail off to get Hufflepuff most of the points through weekly quizzes, donations, and recruiting. Give a round of applause to D i R T i E de-TALES. She was pretty much the only Hufflepuff but didn't give up and I can tell you now that that is not easy when other houses have a couple people and you can only get random points here and there. Even though it was just a few points, she soon dominated by taking over and continuing to let those points add up. de-TALES has also been very patient with me as she waits for me to enter in her points and has even been one to call me out on mistakes she has found. As a reward de-Tales will receive 1k in gold and Hufflepuff will start off the new Year with 20 house points.
The Final points turned in with amazing results, though I have to be honest… I accidentally erased the posts before I knew the final tally so the best I can do is list the ranking order but we did have some amazing scores.

How YOU Can Gain House Points!
For starters, you can gain house points for your house by accepting any task that I assign you. The amount of house points you gain for this will be determined by how hard I feel the task is. I have to feel you are accomplished enough to handle a task, and always remember that I will never give you a task I don't think you are capable of. Though I do understand you guys have real lives, so if I do assign you a task that you don't want to do, just tell me, and I will give you half of the points you would have gotten if you had accepted.
Next, just impress me guys. After a few posts I begin to see what you guys are capable of. Go above and beyond that guys. Impress me with what you can do be, because after all I only know you online, and I will give you house points if you manage to impress me because I am doing my very best to give you perfection.
Following my instructions can also get you house points. I randomly have instructions for all of you to follow. I will post these in the 'Announcement thread, so make sure you check there because that is not just us Mods babbling for the fun of it. So if I have instructions there, follow them and you may might benefit from it. Don't ignore me. EVER!!! That is a very easy way to piss me off.
I will also be posting up some quizzes, and answering those correctly can give you house points. These quizzes will vary, and you will have to follow the directions perfectly to get the points. I guess you can think of them as a type of extra credit assignment that you would do in school because these are 100% optional.
Donating , can also get you house points. We are trying to make it so that we can give out rewards, and we will need your help. Please send these donations to LilyEvansDouble so she will be sure to see them and give you credit. Feel free to donate anything from daily chance items, to gold. All donations are appreciated, and if you donate gold we will take 10% of your donation and give you house points. Many of you may remember this from before, well we are bringing it back. For those of you who don't get it, I'll give you an example. Say you donate 100 gold to LittleGringots. Well, we will take that amount and give you 10 house points. That is 10 percent for those of you that don't do math. The most house points you can get for donating is 10, but there is no limit to how much you can donate. All donations made directly to the guild will be ignored because we can only use that gold for sub forums, and we have enough sub forums for right now.
You can also get points for just being active in the guild, or telling me and explaining if you will be inactive for awhile. Please remember that I am always as understanding as I can be. I don't bite unless you piss me off, which is hard to do, and even then I don't bite hard.

How YOU Can Lose House Points!
Just like you can win points, you can also lose them just as easily if you're not careful. Remember that I demand perfection from myself, and I will do my best to give you all perfection from me. I in turn expect the best you can give me, and I expect you to follow all rules that have been set on both the guild, and Gaia in general.
I understand that you all have lives, and I highly respect that because I myself have one. I do expect you to follow my instructions though because I despise eing ignored. If I have posted instructions in the 'Announcement' thread that apply to you, and you don't follow them, you will lose house points. I don't care if you just didn't look, or if you chose to ignore me, you will lose points because checking the 'Announcement' thread is your responsibility. Though I will give plenty of time for you to check it, so don't worry in that field.
You can also lose points by mouthing off to any Mod in the guild. Mods know what they are doing and they are there for a reason. Don't even dare to give them any lip becasue in all reality you just complicate your life because you get to deal with an angry me, and I DON'T sugar coat things.
Also, you will lose house poihnts if I recieve a seroius complaint about you. We are here to have fun, and it's kind of hard to do that when you have someone who just loves being a jerk. We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable here at Little Hogwarts, so any complaint I recieve I will look over carefully, and if it's seroious I will inform you and deduct house points. The other Mods will also be doing this, so just be nice.
I will also deduct points if you start to get really sloppy with your work. I do my best to give you perfection, and all that I ask from you, is that you do your best. I understand you all have lives, and those come first, but just do what you can. I will not put up with suddenly terribly short and mispelled posts from people I usually get lengthy, perfecter grammer posts from.
Pretty much, if you decide to break any rules of the guild, that is when you will be penalize, and if a loss in house points doesn't cure you, I do know how to ban people. It's quite easy actually.

Who can award House Points?
For the real life people we have all of our mods that can award people house points, and you will all do your best to respect them because I know you don't want to upset me. ~Kaimi5~ and darkkid1000 have seen my temper. I tend to scream and throw things. Though I can't do much online, I still get all frustrated and I expect you to behave yourselves because you are just great people.
